Really does the job
This is my first corded lawn mower, and it does take a bit of an adjustment not to run over the electrical cord. Once you overcome that, I was surprised how well it handled actually mowing. It’s light, so it’s very maneuverable, and was powerful enough to tackle a large pile of wet and dry leaves in the area I was mowing. I’m tired of bagging leaves each fall and was hoping this inexpensive little mower could handle mowing and mulching, and it does without any complaints. Additionally, the mulched leaves were ground small enough so they could be incorporated into my vegetable and flower beds, meaning no more leaf bags going to the landfill. My plants and vegetable garden area will benefit from the nutrients provided by the leaves. For the price, it really surprised me. Oh, and it was easy to put together out of the box.

Works great
I have a REALLY small back yard that doesn't have outside access - This mower is lightweight and cuts really good. The bagger is great and I don't have to rake up all the cut grass. Handle folds down for easy storage in my shed.

Good, Inexpensive Electric Mower
This is a good, strong mower. I wouldn't want to do my entire yard with it because it has a relatively small cutting with (15 inches). We use it for the fenced-in portion of our back yard, and for maneuvering in between the raised bed planters. It's pretty beefy and I haven't had any issues with it getting stuck on tall, clumpy, or wet grass or leaves: it chews through everything I've run over. The only bits that I don't like about it are the cord (wrangling the cord and keeping it out of the way gets easier the more you mow, though); and the fact that the grass collection bag fills up in about eight seconds. If you take the bag off, grass clippings, mulched leaves, and ballistic acorns kick out a gap in the rear directly into your shins. This doesn't happen if you just let the bag fill up and keep mowing, so that's mostly what I do.Otherwise, for the price, you can't beat it. It's versatile, easy to get started again (unlike restarting a gas mower over and over), light, and maneuverable, with excellent cutting ability and strength. Get yourself a long extension cord (I use a 75ft) and keep the bag on, and you'll be golden.

DO NOT PURCHASE! Blade and motor stops in a year and a half.
We purchase our more a year and a half ago. Initially it worked great. We only have a strip of grass by the street and small sections in our backyard. Haven't used it for about 6 months during winter and pulled it out end of March to mow and the blade broke. We never found anything on the ground that it could have hit so I had to order a new blade. The blade King and within two weeks for $23.99 plus tax. We put on the new blade and was able to move the strip by the street for about 20 minutes then my son mold a section in the yard for another 10 or 15 minutes all was fine. Now today we come out to more another small section and within 5 minutes the blade stop spinning. We remove the blade to see if anything was wrapped around it and phone long weave wrapped around the boat that attaches the blade so we remove them. Obviously that wasn't the issue because we noticed the bolt connected to the motor moves In and out and the blade still won't spin but the motor comes on. We've been watching video after video trying to figure out what's the problem. Still no answer. Now, I purchase the more September 23 so the one year warranty will be over September 24th and it's now April 14th 25 but again we didn't use the lawn mower for 6 months as it just said in the shed during the winter. I am changing my review to a negative one because once you pay for something like this you should not be repurchasing it again so soon. Cheap Chinese quality as always. Don't let the shiny look or that yes it does work initially fool you. It's crap. We're not mooring Acres over here just small sections in our backyard. Why won't the blades been? Why are we even dealing with this on a more we've hardly used. I have a 14-year-old son who doesn't like work so believe me it's extremely lightly used. I want a full refund including refund for the new blade we just put on and I have my receipts. It's the exact same blade advertise on Amazon for $27.99 Plus tax I got off Walmart 423.99 plus tax so I still pay $27 for it. I got the exact same serial number or item number that's listed for this brand. I'm requesting a full refund from either Black & Decker or the seller. Extremely unreliable and barely made it past the warranty before breaking. It's like a dollar store lawn mower or cracker Jack novelty item.-0 ⭐ reviewI do not recommend.

Mows and Mows!
I love this thing!I know people don't like having to adjust the cord when mowing, but I never have to get a gas container. It plugs right into my outdoor outlet, and I can mow--wham, bam, easy!

Looks like it’s for kids, works like an adults
A lot of power in a little orange and black playschool looking package. My fiancé was surprised I could do the whole large lot without problem.
