I recently purchased the SwitchBot Water Sensor and was immediately impressed by the quality, the speed of notifications, and how simple it was to set up. Yesterday, it quite literally saved my home from a disaster.I had just left the house when, within 10 minutes, I received a leak alert. At first, I thought, could this really be accurate? I turned the car around, and as soon as I got to the door, I could already hear the sensor alarm going off. When I stepped inside, I discovered my fish tank was actually leaking!Thanks to this device, I was able to stop what could have been a major flood. I’m so thankful I chose this product instead of a cheaper alternative. This experience has given me a lot of confidence in SwitchBot as a brand, and I’m already looking into getting more of their products. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t be more impressed with this leak detector. The cabled version is fantastic value, effectively giving you three sensors in one. The engineering is smartly thought out — the top-mounted sensor sits in a dished recess, which cleverly allows drips to collect and trigger the alarm more quickly.It also has a built-in alarm for immediate local alerts, which is a lifesaver if you’re nearby. Connectivity is excellent: it works flawlessly with the SwitchBot app and cloud services, but it also integrates perfectly with Home Assistant via ESP32. In fact, setup with HA was even faster and more seamless than with the official app.Someone mentioned it didn’t work, personally didn’t have a single issue getting it to work. It was picked up by ESPHome instantly.I was torn between this and the Eufy option, but honestly this has far more bells and whistles, and the Home Assistant functionality is spot on — exactly what I needed for my setup.The build quality, design, and reliability are outstanding. I had the unfortunate experience of a copper pipe bursting (after rubbing against a rusty RSJ), which flooded two rooms in my office. I only wish I’d bought this device sooner — it would have saved me a lot of hassle.If you’re looking for a well-designed, highly reliable, and affordable leak detector, this is absolutely the one to get. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Slightly fiddly to set up and pair with WiFi via the iOS app - not helped by somewhat garbled instructions that have to be downloaded from a QR code. Apple HomeKit integration is not terribly clear.That said, the sensor is neat, very compact and easily placed alongside any boiler, water heater, dishwasher or laundry appliance.Having tested the alarm, the smallest spillage or leak seems to trigger the alarm and/or email alerts (as programmed). The on-board, physical alarm is sufficiently loud, but suitably time-limited so as to not disturb neighbours unduly if you are away from home if a leak occurs!

We installed an in-line water filter with fawcett under the sink, but the hose popped off and leaked into the cupboard, fortunately within hearing range, so I bought this to integrate with my Smart Home. It's simple to install, and can be set to trigger an alarm if it detects water for leaks, or to detect a lack of water for things like aquariums where no water equals dead fish.The second sensor is useful for a kitchen cupboard, as it allows you to detect water on both shelves thanks to about a metre of cable between the body and the 2nd sensor, in case the liquid misses one of them. Setup is easy too, as long as your phone is close enough to register, and it reports home whenever it is triggered, so you can see a history of events, which hopefully won't be too long.

It has four sensor probes and can detect even a tiny 0.5mm water level! And if something goes wrong, the 100dB alarm ensures you won’t miss it, even from afar.The app integration is smooth, and I love how it works with Alexa, Google, Siri, IFTTT, and SmartThings. It even pairs with the SwitchBot ecosystem, letting you control other devices if a leak occurs.All in all, this little device packs a serious punch. It's reliable, well-built, easy to set up, and the app makes everything super convenient. Highly recommend!

Looks great but also functional.After my Siemens washer dryer leaked (I live in a multi storey house with the kitchen on the 2nd level), I wanted to be safe in case this ever happened again.I can also be alerted now if I'm out of the house, or even in another country!The 3 pack switch bot water leak detector (with WiFi) works perfectly and integrated well with Google smart home.If there were any WiFi issues it would still work independently of WiFi, and these are also very small so I've put one in my garage.Very happy with it and the app hasn't logged me out / batteries are still at high level after 6+ months.Great stuff!
