HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Plate for TV Mounts, VESA Conversion Plate for Flat and Curved TVs, Convert 50x50, 75x75 and 100x100 to 200x200 mm Patterns, Includes Hardware Kit

I did not use this plate as intended, but it was a good solution for my project. I used two of these to facilitate mounting/hiding all the equipment behind Mom's TV for a wall mount.Mom's TV has a 200x200 VESA mount. I placed the TV on a wall mount and wanted to get the gear up and out of the way and out of sight. I used two of these adapter plates and mounted one on each side of the VESA wall mount adapter. One plate is captured on two of the corners and extends to the right, likewise the other one is captured on two corners and extends to the left. On one plate I attached the rectangular power strip using heavy, strong double-sided tape. On the other plate I mounted the Channel Master DVR, external hard drive, and wi-fi adapter. The Firestick is small/light enough to hang from the HDMI port with no worries. With some hook-and-loop straps (aka Velcro), all the cabling was tidied up. Everything is powered by the power strip, meaning just the power strip cable is running to the wall outlet, which is also hidden by the TV.I like how these plates are thick. Beefy enough to hold some weight. The multiple holes to adapt to various VESA mount standards provide lots of mounting options for your equipment. If the holes do not line up properly for your equipment, the plate is easy enough to drill.A little on the pricey side, but rest assured these are stout enough to hold some gear. In the end the price was worth it to me to move this project along without having to source and cut material to size myself.

Bought this HumanCentric VESA Adapter Plate to mate a 23" Samsung LCD TV to a new tilt/swivel stand. The plate I bought is the one that is square, approximately 8.75" x 8.75". The Plate w/ Hardware arrived quickly, and the quality looked very good.I verified the fit of the plate with the TV (I needed the 100 x 200, which is centered on the adapter plate) and it fit perfectly. The only issue was the "excess" plate at the bottom covered several of the input connections. I was using only the HDMI input so this didn't affect me. Had I used either the Component or Composite inputs and the Audio output it may have been an issue. You would have to plug in the cables prior to mounting this plate to the TV.When I started my "final" installation, I saw where the bag of hardware had been cut and two of the screws/nuts required to mount the adapter plate to the stand were missing. I sent an email to HumanCentric and it wasn't long before I received a reply. They apologized for the problem and sent out a replacement bag of hardware that day. I received the bag in a day or so and I was back in business.Plate does exactly what it was designed to do. The big headline in this was the fantastic support from HumanCentric. I have several small "mini" portable monitors (those little 15 to 16-inch guys) & mid-size tablets, on which 75x75mm VESA holes are standard...& I also have several 100-200mm-based mounting arms & hardware I'd love to be able to mount them on.I read & re-read & RE-re-read the product page for this item trying to decipther whether I could adapt SMALLER VESA-spec-monitors to BIGGER-spec'd-VESA mounts, & it implied over & over (albeit somewhat ambiguously) that it would work in either direction.Nope. It doesn't.You can go bigger, but not smaller.(On the other hand, I can at least attach this to my 75mm mini-mon & then just hang it from wires lol, which I couldn't easily do without a fixture like this, or similar to it.)Probably great for its ACTUALLY intended use: manufactuer/product page not great at describing PRECISELY what that IS lol.(A solid, hefty chunk o' metal, tho, boy.)

Bought a new TV for a stand that housed my old TV and of course, had the exact VESA configuration that wouldn't work for the stand. Thought about getting a new stand, but felt like it was kind of wasteful and then I'd have to figure out what to do with the old stand.In comes this mount adapter. It's not really the ideal use case scenario for this item, and so it made sense that it wouldn't work right out of the package. I ended up needing to go to the hardware store to get some washers, nuts, and longer bolts. But with some fiddling, it's installed, the TV is attached to the stand, and it feels rock solid. My TV had a VESA 100x200 config, and the stand only took 200x100 and up configs.

Bracket was exactly what I needed to mount my new television in my truck. Worth every penny.

Was the perfect solution for our new TCL TV. The TV had a 100 x 200 pattern for mounting and our actual wall mount did not have that pattern. So was able to attach the wall mount plate to this product, mounted the combined plates to the TV and successfully mounted the TV to the wall mount.

I bought adapter because it is a single plate with multiple holes, rather than four separate arms, which seem like a recipe for a floppy mount. In that regard this adapter is an excellent piece. It is sturdy, well finished, and the holes line up perfectly to adapt my existing 100 X 100 bracket to my new 200 X 200 TV.The mounting screws that are provided are 30mm long. Even using the spacers and washers provided, that is too long to mount onto most TVs. It required me to make a special trip to the hardware store and spend $2 on 16mm screws. Not a lot of money, but adds almost 20% to the purchase price. While these screws cost retail customers 50 cents each, the manufacturer could have bought them for 5 or 6 cents. My recommendation is that they provide screws that are 16 or 20mm in future, either in place of, or in addition to the 30mm screws.
