Review: Learn by Reference and Practice - I've read many books on Python. I'm new to Python, but I'm not new to programming or any of the concepts that are in Python. My favorite books are those that convey the basics, like a reference, and then enforce the basics by exercises and well-thought-out questions. Of all the books I have read and courses I have taken on Python this was absolutely the best. I bought this book a while back. I wish I had started with this one first. The dissemination of information was superb; I got a better understanding of how concepts such as variables, collections, functions, methods, and object-oriented programming are implemented in Python vs C#, etc. Review: Beginner-Friendly - I'm new to programming and decided to pick Python to be the first programming language to learn. I believe this book is a great introduction for me to learn Python, as I find the information provided in it to be very informative yet still understandable. So if you're curious, I recommend trying it. My experience has been great so far.

Extremely Helpful Reference for Quick Concept Reviews
I was nervous when I first opened this because it had gotten wet during delivery, but it was wrapped in plastic and dried out okay. I’m not holding that against the book itself since the content wasn’t damaged and remained fully readable. This book has been so helpful as a reference. I use my textbook for the deeper learning, but whenever I get stuck or forget a concept, this guide helps me quickly connect the dots again. It’s clean, well-organized, and easy to skim. If you already have some basic programming logic from another language, this is a very straightforward, practical how-to.

Decent book for beginners
Simple and easy to understand but has holes. You’ll need to look up things not in the book which makes it not the best book. Also, the practice exercises will have you do things the section didn’t fully cover so there’s no way you’d get the solution correct. Ok book if you don’t mind also using other resources along with this one.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY, not for beginners and most likely was written by LLM. Lack of coherence between the chapters as if each was prompted separately without knowledge or background of the previous chapters. As an example at the start of the book, after a practical exercise section there is a "Solutions" section which starts with "Certainly! Here are the solutions to the exercises proposed..." Absolute waste of time and money.
