Really nice, high quality table. We love it.

The gears currently work, the table does indeed go up and down. The paint on the center pole chipped off immediately however, so the finish isn't good at all.One of the supplied screws stripped as the hole was not lined up between two parts, but the leg seems to be solid with out that particular screw.The durability of the product will take time to evaluate, but happy with the look and operation currently

The table arrived and the outer box looked fine. The inner box appeared damaged. I opened everything up and all of the parts were there and there was not any discernible damage. The crank and “lock” handles were packed unattached. I read many reviews that said the handle was broken in shipping - they must have changed how they pack it.It is cast iron. Quite heavy as you would expect based on the description. While I would not say it is “ hi quality”, do not confuse that with well built and sturdy. It goes together easily but the fit of the legs to the base are not precise although it seems to not matter as they install easily and securely with three large Allen head machine bolts. The table is very sturdy.The top is absolutely beautiful. The distressed wood looks fantastic. This table was not cheap and you could say is not high quality in terms of tolerances and manufacturing but it is incredibly sturdy and very beautiful and it functions as expected. I have it cranked as high as it will go and it is totally stable. I would strongly recommend this if you like farmhouse/industrial/rustic/antique stuff. If you want a perfectly built piece of machinery, this may not be for you. Personally, I feel I got a really good deal as it is exactly what I had hoped for.

The black paint does not stay adhered, i received with some areas missing black paint, also the table i gor was 30in diameter, i thought i was getting 36" diameter and so i did not use after being assembled, very frustrated trying to get a replacement, and requested 36" diameter, so we are just returning, and expect full refund.

There is teal greenish blue paint scattered on top to make it appear rustic. Top is heavy and thick wood.

I was nervous when I read others had some shipping/packaging issues but figured I'd give it a shot since some time has passed. Let me be the first to warn you that the problem is not in shipping but in manufacturing a quality product. You would think the absolute basics of milling/drilling and tapping screws would be manifest in table such as this, but you would be wrong. Our table is bent in the middle because of a poor cut of the wood, paint was flaked off in some areas, and worse the tapped holes were not aligned correctly. So if you're looking for an unstable table that is warped and folds in the middle, THIS IS FOR YOU! The seller and manufacturer should be embarrassed about this. Pictures attached as proof.
