The one i had was falling apart but there was no sense in buying a full shower set, this replacement part was a 60 sec job to unscrew then attach to the pole. It holds the shower head well and has plenty good enough tension for the shower head.

Having lived with a snapped shower head holder for over a year I'm actually a little annoyed with myself having now found this gadget which is frankly ludicrously cheap at under £10 and fabulously quick and easy to fit (literally about 3 mins and only that long because I put it the wrong way up for the shower hose to start with). I have no idea how long it will last, but if we don't 'abuse' it I can't see why it should be particularly vulnerable to breaking and as long as it lasts a least a year I would just buy another.Obviously did all the various necessary measurements etc to check it would fit our rail before buying...

The chrome styling looks great in our bathroom, but we are going to put our old white plastic holder back on. This one doesn't have a great range of movement and the undoing part to move it up and down the pole does not feel good.

Fits perfectly

Got this as the original holder became faulty. Easy enough to install, feels sturdy enough, not likely to break when used for its designed purpose. The plastic elements are always the weakest links on these things especially if they go through varied temperature changes over time. We’ll see if it holds up, if it doesn’t I’ll update the review.

I got this because the holder on our riser rail is designed for shower heads which are a larger diameter than most of the ones available on Amazon. I wasn't sure if it would work because our riseer rail is oval in shape, rather than round and this obviously designed for round rails.However much to my surprise I unscrewed the two halves, put them around the riser, tightened the whole thing up and it does grip the rail, not quite as tightly as I would hope, but it does work.The only slight gripe that I have is that the adjustment for the angle of the shower head is in quite large steps and if you want a position between the steps it does tend to just fall down until it reaches the next stop, this means that I either have it spraying straight out, or nearly verticaly down, which isn't great.However with a bit of fiddling and using the old holder to support the shower head, it is fine.I just hope that because I have had to tighten it right up to get enough grip on our rail that it doesn't fail, it is under quiet a bit of pressure. But at just £6.99 it isn't going to break the bank (price correct at time of writing).
