The media could not be loaded.  The keypad has a rugged construction and although the back box has some rough edges that could have been finished better around the cable access points it feels tough enough to provide a useful security keypad. The keys are backlit blue and have nice positive action and are well spaced and raised above the pad. The keypad can enrol up to 1000 RFID cards which are purchased separately, typically each card is a few tens of pence each. There are outputs for magnetic locks and alarm contacts, and an antitamper spring contact is fitted to protect against cover removal if required. The instruction book is in very small type and as there are lots of options in can be a bit confusing, however once you have got the hang it makes sense, basically in programming mode there are 0 to 11 function options that can be configured, if you make a mess of it you can always revert back to the factory default settings and start again.

This is a heavy, solidly constructed access control which is pretty vandalism proof.It can be accessed via a key code password, and on the Amazon page it speaks about ID cards but I don’t see any sign of them.The panel can be backlit so it’s easy to see in the dark and the buttons are easy to press and see.It has different modes to suit different needs and can accommodate up to 1000 users.It could be used for both residential or commercial use.The finish to the bottom and back is very sharp and razor like. I had to be careful how I held it.The instructions are small and you will need a magnifying glass to see them clearly, and then you will need to decipher them.It’s a challenge to understand the functionality and I wonder if I actually have received it all. As for the installation well it’s far beyond my know how. When opened there are two strands of wire that look very fragile.There’s several online videos for RFID access panels which might help set it up and give advice for this model but I couldn’t find anything that was particularly helpful.I wasn’t able to get this to work and if you have it installed I think only a professional would be able to do it.I hope you find my review helpful.

Awful to instal, I tried, then had an electrician try and the instructions were not useful.Searched YouTube as well and only offer pre wired instructions. I'm at a loss what to do next, destroyed my security trying to cable this.Has left me feeling vulnerable.

1. Its not for outdoor use!2. Yes , the case is metal but the buttons is not.3. Easy programming ( instruction inside the box)4. Connection instruction absolutely wrong!!! ( i spend about 20min to figure the right way how to connect this think and i add instructions for newbs )5. Its a regular screw to lock the case on the bottom so its not really secured.6. It is not buzz when lock is released ( i recommend to buy separate buzzer . i bought 25 pcs for 9.99 on amazon)

Did not work and upon messaging seller they sent me a digital copy of the owners manual. Which I already received with the product and did not change the fact that the keypad was defective
