This book is full of knowledge that make you go inward to answer the call of kali but you must be willing to surrender . The book is not like any other kali book on Amazon. Stop wasting time buy it

The book arrived two weeks before the expected due date. It was well wrapped and protected. It had a detailed packing slip. It was new and in perfect condition.

Fabulous and well-written book on Kali and her true identity as the Great Goddess. I enjoyed the author's explanations of the Indian tradditions from firsthand experience. Sanskrit terminology difficult to understand, though. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been practicing yoga for awhile and is familiar with the Tantra path but would like to learn more. Also a good read for anyone hoping to get closer to the Goddess by working with Kali.

This was one of the first books I read about Kali. I found it frustrating to read because there were so many words I did not understand. I did find the chapter about the Ten Wisdom Goddesses really interesting, and ultimately transformative. At that point I gave up on reading this book and spending so much time looking up definitions. So now, some years later, as a devotee of Kali, I have returned to this book, to give it another try. And still, I have to spend a lot of time looking up Hindu words and concepts I know nothing about. The print edition cries out for a glossary or footnotes. Please.The Kindle version, however, makes for much easier reading and comprehension.For further information about the Mahavidya I highly recommend The Ten Great Cosmic Powers by S. Shankaranarayanan available here at Amazon, usually. It goes in and out of print. Sometimes it's available from Amazon UK. It is a difficult read, at least for me, but the information within seems to enter my consciousness nonetheless.

Not easy to find books on Kali Worship

with the choice of adjectives and adverbs. anyway it is written based on personal experience that is a bit like reniassance teachings and snake dancing religious sects in america. all are bazed on belief and not proofed, which does not mean anything you must find your relationship with the divine.

Truly a heart opening journey as I read the beautiful prose I felt an opening beyond any of my imagining or previous studies .

Although this is unusual book - considering it is not directly centered, on sadhna techniques(of which we found, tons of materials around, for which we approached it). Yet This book proved extremely helpful for my sadhna, for getting to know untouched divine aspects of my soul deity - My mother Kalika🌻🌻🌻🙆‍♀️🌷, especially knowledge like what, how and which aspect of mother Shyama, holds significance for spiritual practices.

Chopra livre un ouvrage intéressant qui plaira aux amateurs du bien-être à la sauce New Age, le même public que celui de son célèbre mari Deepak Chopra, et risquera de décevoir les chercheurs spirituels sensibles aux rituels hindouistes ou au Bhakti Yoga.Shambhavi délivre pêle-mêle des copiés-collés d'enseignements authentiques et de commentaires relatifs à des visions qu'elle prétend avoir eu, sans toutefois en avoir fait l'expérience ; Kali est décidément bien loin de la tradition, souvent reléguée ici à une divinité faible et bienveillante, bref du Superman touché par la kryptonite. Il conviendra au lecteur de faire la différence entre l'aspect mercantile superflu et ce qui est utile à la Connaissance du Soi.Ecrit en anglais très accessible, et à lire par curiosité.
