BushWear "The Bush Chair Hide Christmas Stockings (170091)

The hide is sturdy and opens up and folds away very easily. The chair is very comfortable if you have to sit in it for a long period and has good all round vision with the side panels fastening with magnets to reduce noise. I use it for photography and the hide works really well with the kingfishers, who are normally really nervous, that I have been photographing recently. I would thoroughly recommend this though I haven't tested the water proofing yet

Great idea but not easy to pack away for one person

Have used it several times since purchase and it has protected me from cold winds and rain. Assembles quickly and folds away using a simple clip to to hold it together as you pack it away

Bought these for pigeon decoying with shotgun. Relatively easy to assemble but are not designed so you can stand up easily if at all. On the day we tried them it poured with rain I shut mine up and actually went to sleep. My friends had small holes in the material so he got soaked. If we hadn’t used them once would have returned as one was faulty

PRO'sI had the original of this hide and it lasted over 10 years. Not used for shooting but for wildlife photography and it was out almost constantly over this period in all weathers, never let me down. This updated one benefits from the inclusion of a blackout membrane and slits in the mesh on the side windows to poke a camera lens through should the need arise.CON'sWould have preferred the zipper at front to be 2-way to accommodate poking a tripod leg through, this would give more room inside. The magnets on this version are much weaker and don't stay closed but fortunately I was able to stitch the magnets from the old hide into this one. Lastly unless you are swivel-necked the rear window is of no use whatsoever and just creates another inlet for rain water.I have no doubt this one will last me another 10 years.
