Would certainly buy again
Just received a second 400W SP037 solar array today. Fortunately before todays snow storm rolls through. Was packaged very well being double boxed. The outer box had a few tears, but the internal box and contents were excellent. Must say considering shipment from CA to NE, packages were in very good condition. Considering transport and being transferred multiple times. The inverter was also packaged very well double boxed and on a crate. The inverter at a 100Lbs is heavy but not difficult to move with the built in casters. The front extension handle is very helpful to tilt and relocate. Same as a heavy suitcase. Even rolls well on grass.Found carrying the solar array(s) up a hill had somewhat of a challenge. Solved by using a folding baggage cart. Shown in one of the attached photos, and works great for multiple sets.Very satisfied with the performance of the inverter. Use is intended when working remote and no power is available. Ran a 120V electric leaf blower at my home for three hours straight. That was starting at 100% and one solar array attached. Take note you can charge and use power at the same time. After three hours, still had 70% charge remaining.Have used the inverter to simulate a power outage and operate a 1000watt 120V convection oven. Baked some bread and ran flawlessly. So as reference also able to run refrigerators or freezer if needed. Additionally will operate all my 120V power tools or rechargeable battery packs.Main reason selected the All-Powers R4000 is to power my camper with the 30A 120V outlet. I know it will operate the air conditioner for a few hours, but full performance will be known this summer. I noted other brands can do this but require an additional battery. Calculations indicate ability to recharge the existing camper power supply. Will know more this summer depending on need. At that time can follow up with a new post.As for only problem, find I loose connectivity with my phone app. Then need to reconnect Wi-Fi or Bluetooth in the field. Possibly the inverter has an update needed to assure status for remote device is maintained. Recognize signal can be lost when walk away from area. But would expect to automatically reconnect when back in range,

Allpowers units are bad
I was going to buy another Bluetti system, but this seamed like a good deal. I was WRONG, using it to run a mid range frig after a time the rear fans start their loud. Also and the biggest problem is the smell that comes from it whish fills the area its in. I have to shut it down it is so bad. It isn't a burning smell. The output voltage under a load drops to 112v as the Bluetti is between 119-120v. I spent over $3000.00 for this big unit for which I cann't use. My suggestion is NOT to buy this item, go with a Bluetti instead. Also I've other reviews of other ALLpowers units that are no good, if I had known this before hand I wouldn't have bought this. In further checking this unit the front fans don't come on, which should be at least in medium to start with. The inverter gets very hot to around 104 degrees. Thats when the front fans come on and the speed varies by the temperature, which is too late. This when smell accures due to the componets heating up. The firmware needs to be updated to correct this. Due to the inverter getting this hot could cause a burn out or a FIRE.

So far it seems ok but struggle finding information on how to use it
What do I dislike? Having something that first and foremost does not have any info telling you how to turn it on. Communication is not coming from this country so be prepared. Obviously the language barrier always plays a role. Then the warranty, I asked how to activate it and was told not to worry, they have everything documented. It works but I am never happy unless I know everything about anything I buy and I am not able to have that knowledge with this purchase. Very disappointing

ALLPOWERS R4000 and 600 watt solar pannel.
I bought the ALLPOWERS R4000 solar power station and the 600 watts panel after 6 months of use the R4000 is working OK with the rear access door cover not closing properly anymore. Minor issue but so far the basic function of the power station works. I did noticed the power station will not charge even when plugged into the 120 volt AC outlet. I found that I have to turn off the unit and re-start it again then it will start charging normally. I find this as a non-sense because this defeats my confidence to rely on this unit as a UPS power station knowing that it may not charge even when plugged into the AC outlet. On the solar pannel my main issue is the fabric of the solar pa nel is wearing quickly and my solar pannel won't produce more than 400 watts even when new. I expect at 70% at least I should get more than 420 watts on direct sunlight. Right now I am still chasing the run around from allpowers asking me to do this do that.In short- Even with the amazon Insureance I am still chasing this run around from Allpowers. I also emailed if there is any firmware update and so far not heard any.

A lot of capability in a Portable Power Station for less money
Perhaps my situation was a little different from other reviewers in that I could not immediately get assistance with my AllPowers R4000 Portable Power Station. However AllPowers Customer Support did ultimately get back to me and gave me a simple engineering work-around to implement, and my 'issue' is now fully sorted.AllPowers power stations and accessories (like their portable solar panels) certainly do give you a lot for the money as compared to other, bigger brands. And it is great that early on they decided to utilize the safer, less toxic and much longer life LiFePO4 batteries, giving their power stations pretty much a 10+ year life if used every single day to full discharge and recharge. The Company also told me that they are continuously striving to improve their products - something which is essential to remain competitive in this market. So it is great that the R4000 has app connectivity, and will be able to download future firmware upgrades. All in all, with a simple modification from my initial uses, the R4000 is a great portable power station, with a high power inverter and excellent battery capacity for real-world emergency or everyday use.
