I like this in a spray bottle, especially if I need to use irritation powder whereas using the wipes might remove the powder. It preps the skin, it dries quickly and helps the wafer stick to the skin better than just bare skin and doesn't cause me any skin issues.

Somewhat messy on the clean up

This is an EXCELLENT skin prep if you are placing adhesives on skin (glucose monitor patches, ostomy appliances, VAC adhesive drapes, band-aids, etc) and want them to stay in place AND be as comfortable as possible when you are taking them off. Highly recommended.

As an ostomy patient it has been hard to find a product that doesn't irritate my skin after so many days of having the appliance on. This product you can just spray it on your skin and the stoma and then spray it on the wafer or the paste and let it dry for a minute and stick both sides together and seems to work extremely well without any irritation. Would recommend.

I use this barrier spray to set the stoma powder that i place around my stoma during bag changes. It is very easy to use, does a great job setting and sealing the area and dries quickly. I cover the stoma in stoma powder, use the spray, powder again, spray again, then one more layer of powder. This has given 8-9 days of wear time for each bag. Great product and i highly recommend it.

Ha sido comprar esto y empezar a ver la herida curarse.. habíamos probado todo y esto es lo que ha funcionado.. Leer bien el prospecto porque es ALTAMENTE INFLAMABLE así que hay que tener cuidado. Muy recomendable.

This stuff works! I had a small sore patch in a really difficult position on my lower back/upper bottom which would keep rubbing on clothing and, despite using barrier creams of different kinds, lingered for longer than I wanted or would return after a couple of weeks only to flare up again. I bought this barrier film spray and it has been a game changer. I can just about manage to contort myself into the right position to squirt my sore bit and once dry this Cavilon Barrier Film keeps the patch of skin dry without any pain or irritability for a good long while - giving the skin a chance to heal underneath. I've also used this stuff to protect my wrist skin where my Garmin Watch caused some irritation and sloughing of the top layer of skin. One squirt of this Barrier Film, let it dry and put your watch back on and you're good to go. The film layer is so thin that the watch can still work through it reading your vitals and because the barrier layer is dry it doesn't cause any issues with the delicate electronics of the watch itself. This stuff isn't cheap.... but it does work and one or two squirts are enough for most things I need it for, so I can see this little bottle lasting quite a long time. I will definitely be buying more when needed. It's part of my "essentials" now.
