INVADER ZIM-DIE KOMPLETTE - MO [Blu-ray]

Honestly still the best show ever; shame we never got more...For those of you struggling to find a copy of this in English, as this is an American show it's main language is English so here's your work around!Original English audio subtitles are German but trust me those aren't really needed to enjoy the show![Still translates well into modern day viewing; hell you'll probably understand more of it now, then before]

I first came across Invader Zim, as a lot of people do with this kind of show which is predominantly unheard of, by accident.Having read that it contains all the episodes for a bargain price I jumped at the chance. As with anything some episodes are much better than others but this pack itself is definitely worth it as everyone will find a good handful of favourites to keep watching.Basically, Zim is an alien and his race is governed by 'the tallest' (yes - the taller you are the more important you are). His race is bent on universal domination and assign their best fighters to enemy planets. Here they are to find out about the local habitants weaknesses so they can take over their planet. Zim turns up whilst these fighters are being assigned and just to shut him up they pretend he has a secret mission on 'planet x' - earth! This is all a lie as in reality they just want to get rid of him and planet x is the furthest place away. So Zim sets of with his faulty and loveable gir to rain down some doom upon the heads of his doomed enemies! And so the story begins...Packed with hilarious 1 liners and ingenius story lines, Zims ultra ego takes him on a course of crazy ideas and notion to destroy the humans while only Dib - a kid at his school - seems to notice Zim is not quite the average 'boy' from down the street and these 2 start a long standing feud to destroy / save earth. Just be warned - Zim vary rarely says anything without shouting and very rarely only says it once - this can become very annoying but to be honest it only seems to add to the whole craziness of it. Gir is probably the best cartoon character ever invented (yes Gir, you were the turkey). I would highly, highly recommend this to anybody who loves a bit of crazy!

I'm sure you've heard of Invader Zim, otherwise you'd not even consider to browse this item. In short, it's the best cartoon since ren and stimpy. But with some sense of child-like, creative innocence (ish...Zim trying to disguise his alien guts by stealing the school children's organs and replacing them with foreign objects, like radiators, can be considered a bit much for daytime nickelodeon) and progressive narrative (be it a loose one). Gir is also one of the greatest creations the human mind has ever conceived.But what is unsure is what this 'fan pack' actually is...It is in fact every single invader zim episode in one package. For a budget price, and all the extras from the volumes are included.That makes this a compulsory buy to anyone wishing to purchase any of the volumes on offer here on amazon. The house set looks pretty cool, but still rather expensive.Be aware of the region, and of the delivery times (dvdlegacy took less than three weeks) and bathe in the glorious belly of Jhonen Vasquez's animated genius. And while your at it giggle at bad art collections, homicidal maniacs,tormented squees,mentally instable illustrators and that poor poor bunny...

Language can be selected as English but the episode titles and menus are German. Easy enough to get around and I love having all the episodes on 2 discs.

Brilliant price for such an amazing series. Can’t wait for the film to come out.All German language but has the option on the menu screen to put the audio into English.Like it says SD on Blu-ray so don’t be expecting the quality to be HD but it still looks like the dvd version but at least you’ve got all the episodes across 2 disk’s not 6. So that saves you getting up to change disks and can just sit and enjoy
