This is a great frame and it worked perfectly for me. I have seen some reviews where people have said that when the cardboard backing is removed to insert your photo that the backing will not fit back into the frame. This is true if you try to simply lay it into the frame but that's the wrong way to do it. There is a groove cut into the inside of the frame. You need to make sure the backing slides into that groove before trying to push it in. If you do this the cardboard backing will slide in perfectly. Hope that helps!

Having worked in the framing business for over 20 years I know framing can be very, very expensive. This is an excellent purchase if you want something really nice and not pay crazy money!The frame is well made as is the double mat; perfectly beveled with no over cuts. It also came very well packaged with corner protectors and a mile of bubble wrap in a heavy duty corrugated box.Yes you can get a cheesy frame and mat cheaper but I have to say this is quite lovely and excellent quality. 🙂

When I obtained my treasured Ongo Gablogian Print from my son-law I knew I had to have the perfect frame to capture the power of his presence. This frame features reflective real glass with a nice black-background dual layer matt. It feels substantial and looks great. The stepped corner plastic hanging hardware is unusual and somewhat questionable (BYO Nails) - but worked fine so far and allowed leveling.Ongo can't be contained in just any frame. His energy and sheer raw power have captured the hearts and minds of the art world since he crashed the scene in 2016, and I knew instantly that the unique and very rare print required the special care that only this frame could provide. Every morning as I stand before this shrine, lid up - I gaze upon his countenance and prepare to face the day - stronger and wiser from merely having glimpsed his image. I can only imagine what his wistful gaze is pondering upon...silent...and alone...

I bought these for my house and again for a gift. My rating is based on the item itself and not the packaging. The wood is a pretty Brazilian cherry style appearance. The mat is an egg shell white and cut at a bevel. The “kick stand” in the back is well structured so the picture stands up well with a slight angle. If you plan to give as a gift, please note that the cardboard box it comes in looks like it had been through World War II in both of my separate purchases. When I gave it as a gift, I had to take it out of the box it came in and place into something more presentable.

My youngest served 4 years in the Navy and just graduated college. I needed a double 5x7 frame (far right). This frame completed my Wall of Pride. Three college graduates, one also a vet! I am generally pleased with most items that I purchase on Amazon, but I rarely take the timefor a review. I previously purchased a Craig frame from Amazon and returned it because it was "distressed wood" which did not show on the website photo. The wood looked really cheap. This frame is much nicer than I expected. The wood is a rich cherry color and the corners are mitered perfectly. The fittings on the back are good quality and versatile. I really miss Aaron Brothers Frame store which is where I have purchased frames for years. There a no brick and mortar stores where I can find a good selection of frames and I wasa bit skeptical about order from an online seller. I will definitely purchase other Gallery Solutions frames.My photos don't do the frame justice as I took the photos at night with subdued lighting.

This is a very nice frame for a great price; exactly what I needed. I took the mat out because I needed the full size frame and worried it might be integral to the frame but as another reviewer said, it was just a standard mat so it was perfect. It's a sleek, modern style frame which I recommend.

I purchased five of these frames and they are very nice looking. I was a little wary because the price was so good but really impressed with what I received. Like a few other people though, I didn’t like the mounting hardware they cane with but I found a very easy solution that I hadn’t seen posted yet so I’m writing a review. These plastic corner brackets are good in theory however if your measurement is off by the slightest bit it is impossible to hang the picture straight due to the serrations that are on the original plastic brackets. So I cut the serrated edges off and made them smooth. Then it didn’t matter if your measurement was off by 1/16th, you can adjust the picture by sliding versus stepping it down the next notch. With that said, regular scissors were too big to cut the edge off. I found a very sharp, thin bladed shear in my husband’s tools and used that. A sharp bathroom scissors (like for nose hair?) might work as well. This was easy, fast and the pictures look great!

I bought a beautiful print to put in this expensive frame. While I really liked the frame , I couldn't believe the maker didn't put the hanging equipment in with it. This frame has been made so the hanger is specific to it.My husband made a hanger for it so the print would be hanging by Christmas. It's not flush with the wall, like it's supposed to be. But It does have a personal touch!

Upon receiving the product I reviewed it as a very nice product which arrived on time and well packaged.It is a nice product but unfortunately as I was placing the portrait I realized there was significant marks on the white mat (photo) and two significant scratches on the glass.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this frame. I really love the white matting against the black frame. The shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend.

The frames are great in every way! They arrived very securely, each packaged individually within a single box. The quality of the wood is above-average and the price is competitive. They can be hung or left to stand alone, and the package comes with very clear instructions for either method.

I am happy with the frame. It was nicely made and good for the price of it.
