Great Linux Intro!
This is one of the best beginner Linux books out there, even if you’re not into hacking. OTW covers the essentials in a clear, practical way without boring fluff. Perfect for anyone looking to get hands-on with Linux, whether you’re breaking into cybersecurity or just want to stop being scared of the terminal.

Awesome Book for Beginners
Great book, it is what it says it is, a great intro to Linux for people who are looking to enter the world of cybersecurity (hacking).

I didn’t know a book could be this fun..
This book has been sooooo much fun since the second I opened it. Im a beginner at all of this. Just finished yesterday getting my first virtual machine up and running. Now I’m learning the different terminal commands. The book is literally a step by step guide. If you can follow instructions, and are brand new, this is a great book.Having ChatGPT open while I’m going through it has been very helpful. It’s nice to have a deeper understanding of certain things. I’m also not using windows or my primary OS and decided to learn Kali.I actually cannot wait to wake up in the morning and start working on chapter 3.

Recomendado

It is the basics.
This is pretty much just a how-to-use Linux guide book. It doesn't go into too many details and some of the guides don't work correctly as even now Kali Linux has pulled functionality from their VMs and reinstalling some of the software and finding where to get it can be frustrating for those wanting to just jump in.If you're in IT or do anything involving networking or programming most of the concepts found here are going to be fairly remedial. I'm a little disappointed in the book as David Bombal spoke so highly of it on his podcast.
