Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph 2.0, Bluetooth Compatible

Great tool to use for sighting in a rifle. I shot through this and I put the data in a ballistic calculator. The box was as much as 400FPS off from the chronograph. The app works perfectly fine Bluetooth to my phone. This chronograph is a great value when compared to others. It is only 3 buttons so it is very easy to use. The design is straight forward, put it 10-15 feet in front of the barrel and let’er eat.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this item because of it's exceptional reputation! I found it well built and lasting in endurance and quality. I found that it didn't want to connect with my Android or even be used by itself. I was mainly frustrated by erroneous and utterly useless downloaded manuals. Nothing simply mentioned the use of the many exclusive features or utilizations of the >Chrona.. 2.0" unit {6 pages of general info} Nothing as simple as why and how the 3 buttons are used! Try the website and find out! There was a slight references between the green logo and the orange logo apps. Nothing about the distinctions or functionality! { ???? } After 2 calls to service, I still couldn't get it to work as advertised. The "Chronograph 2.0" is a marvelous piece of engineering, It's an utter disgrace that marketing and others including the web site couldn't keep up! I wanted it badly but due to the frustration and surprising lack of explicit, unit specific info...I returned it! Being an "air gun" newbe may possibly explain it.

I returned this chrono, because it was very difficult to set up. The reading were accurate as I compared it to a much more expensive unit. I found it to be very cumbersome to put together and set up. For those reasons I returned it. I gave it a 3 star due to it's accuracy.

Works well. Doesn't work so great in the sun. It overheats fast and you have to give it a break. Aside from that it's fun and helps to tune your shooting equipment.

Worked great for 9mm. Not good at all for 357 mag. I might have had it too close. I noticed alot of gunpowder residue all over it after the shooting session from the 357. Probably need to move it 20 ft away instead of 15ft

Really great product for serious pcp rifle target shooters.

The third time I used it it started throwing error codes and will not read anything now. I emailed Caldwell ballistics and got one email back from them and then they quit responding. They have no plans to refund, replace or repair it. This thing is junk. Stay away from it and buy a quality chronograph.
