I really like these boots.
I have only had these a week but so far I really like them. Very light weight and comfortable and seem well made. I am looking forward to getting a chance to hike in them.

Good hiking shoes but MAJOR durability problem
The shoes have very generous toe box and are very light to wear. I am very happy with the feel of the shoes on my hikes. The only problem and a major one is that shoes are not durable, they start to come apart after less than two months of wear (maybe 150 miles). The outer mesh started to tear and shoe trim started to peel. Very cheaply made! I owe four pairs of Xero shoes, and this is my first disappointment with them.Update (9/13/2023):I contacted customer support regarding the deterioration of the shoes. Since the shoes are under 24 month warranty, and replacement are sent. Let's see how long the replacements last.

Too narrow
I typically wear and 11.5. I got it in this boot and my toes were crushed. Went to a 12 and toes still hitting the front. Not a good shape if your toes splay out.

A minimalist-style boot — lightweight, good traction, wide toe box.
The media could not be loaded. The title “Scrambler Mid” accurately describes exactly what you are getting, and that is a mid-height hiking boot that’ll help you scramble up and scramble down things. See my video for examples.I’ve used the Scrambler for both hiking and running, and have found them to be very similar in feel, traction, and fit to the Xero Mesa Trail II running shoe — just taller, which is why it’s my go-to trail boot when dealing with mud, sand, loose gravel, and snow that’s less than 5-ish inches deep. And if the snow is deeper, it’s got a gator hook that works with probably any standard shoe gator. It’s a little heavier than most trail running shoes, but it is extremely lightweight for a boot (12 ½ ounces in my own size — 12.5 men’s). That’s about half the weight of most other hiking boots! But keep in mind that because it is built with a "barefoot" design style — extremely minimalist, no height difference between the front and the back of the shoe, and as light as possible, you may have to give yourself time to adjust to it if you are used to using standard heavy boots.I’ve got lots more to say about the Scrambler Mid; check my video review for more in-depth info.

Worst shoe I have ever worn
Advertised as a hiking shoe. I would not use them to hike to my mail box. These shoes are horrible. The inside sole is paper thin and provides no comfort. The bottom sole is fabricated so that it does not prevent slipping on a flat wet surface. They are so poorly built that they leaked water after the second wearing. I could not recommend these shoes for 1/10 of the price. The only commendable features are the metal lace holders at the top of the shoe--with them, you can take it off more quickly. Shoe lives up to the manufacturer's title--ZERO.
