Super Cute!
I had been looking for a harness backpack for my son, who loves to just walk off and completely ignore me. He is also fascinated with zippers right now, so I figured if I got him something of his own, he wouldn't constantly try and get into the diaper backpack all the time. This little guy did the trick! The material is soft and squishy, but feels durable. The design is adorable, and includes the equivalent of a little coin purse that fits in the clear helmet zipper, and it fits him perfectly (he is 15 months). We have not yet tried the leash part out yet, but it hooks from the bottom, which I actually liked because I felt like it wouldn't jerk him off his feet as much if he tried to take off. The only reason I give 4 stars for durability is because the clip on the leash is plastic. I feel like if it were metal, it would be stronger for when he gets older, but other than that, we are extremely happy with this little bag! He currently uses it for toys and just looks so grown up when he puts it on!

Better than expected
I bought this backpack for my 3.5 y/o brother, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. He’s very independent and refuses to hold a hand, but he’s also gets distracted and will walk away or worse, run away, and he’s very fast. I was worried that he’d hate it as much as handholding, but he actually really likes it and has asked to wear it out when we didn’t ask him to. He has gotten frustrated with it a few times, mainly when it’s hot and his back is sweaty or he’s super tired, but overall it has relieved a lot of worries we have had with taking him out of the house. The backpack itself is extremely nice quality and has withstood quite a bit of pulling on the leash (he prefers to walk as far away as it will let him, and has tried to run quite a few times). It doesn’t fit a lot in it, but can carry a drink for him and a few toys. If you think you would benefit from this, I’d really recommend it. The only downside is that he gets wrapped up in the leash often and other people can be quite judgy about it, but me and my family are much more relaxed in public now, knowing he is safe and near us.

Smaller than anticipated, but super-cute!
Smaller than I had anticipated, but it’s super cute and fits my son perfectly. He is 2 yrs old but wears a size 3T for reference. He thinks it’s cool that now he gets to be like the rest of the fam at the airport with his backpack and he loves playing with the zippers and opening the different compartments. If you have more than 2 handfuls of stuff this probably isn’t the bag for you, but we just plan to have some small toys and snacks so it will work for us. Haven’t used the leash strap but it appears to be well-made, a good length and not in an awkward location that would get him tangled up in it. Overall, pleasantly surprised and look forward to seeing him with it on.
