Reality Bleed: Season 1: Books 1-4

Scratched the cosmic-horror, scifi-action itch so good.
After the character and world building it goes full tilt and doesn't let up.A great blend of things like Lovecraft, Aliens, and DooM and Quake. The perspective bounces around the various and unique characters and you get great insight into their thoughts and actions, and then how they affect those around them.Extremely exciting with erratic twists and turns as plans fall apart as unseen variables throw wrenches in every gear.

If Doom-3 had a plot
Aside from its close resemblance to the video game Doom-3, the books really aren’t bad. You definitely won’t get bored reading them. :-)

captivating , action filled book.
I like how the books pulls you in for the tide of a lifetime. I can't wait until I cam read the next books in this serious. Be prepared to sit down and get lost in these books written by some of the best authors on their genre.

The story line is not origional
If you have seen the movies Alien and Aliens, you will be able to notice how the story line is the same. There are only minor differences.

Dark, scary, and human
Everyone says this is like doom but better. I disagree. Doom wishes it was "Reality Bleed." It's dark, funny, terrifying, sad, and stoic. I wish I was able to write something so powerful. You actually feel for the characters. There's no super man, just people being people and making hard decisions. Fantastic book.

Creep It Real
I bought these books and read each one individually and they scared the bejesus out of me the first time. I don’t know why I thought it would be a good idea to read them late one night when I couldn’t sleep. I was really creeped out when the storm outside created some weird shadows in the room so I finally convinced myself to turn on a nightlight. (I didn’t want to put my feet on the floor in case something was under the bed – beasties and such. Not to worry, I only pulled a muscle and needed a heating pad for the next few days). Don’t read these during a storm. Then I started hearing “noises”. Inside noises – not outside noises. Don’t read these if you have a cat that decides it is a good idea to walk on the heat ducts in the basement. After I dozed off, my spouse was worried because I wasn’t up at o’dark thirty as usual. When he tapped my shoulder, I bolted up and bashed foreheads. Matching bruises. Don’t read these all night and oversleep. BUT YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST READ THEM (in the middle of the day with someone nearby that you can offer as a sacrifice while you escape in case someone opens the gates…………..). Bargain for all the sci-fi thrills, twists, turns, creatures, characters!

A plot that has been done to death. And yet...
First, it has to be said the plot for the first 4 books is one that has been done and done again. From the scientists opening a portal to another dimension to the unsuspecting rescue team walking into a ruined base, it's a plot that has been done so many times I could practically remember having already seen the movie. And yet, I really enjoyed it. And if they turned it into a movie, I'd watch it. It was non-stop action with good characters, great creepy aliens and a satisfying story arc.I guess that's why writers keep coming back to this plot; it works. At least it did for this writer. Looking forward to reading book 5 and beyond.

An absolutely riveting action packed page turner.
I saw the first book, Hell on Mars advertised on the book of faces and with reservation, hit the learn more button, (of course now I have endless advertisements for books in my feed. Such has become the book of faces). I'm actually very glad I did take this particular bait. I had been longing for a sci-fi experience and sense of intensity as John Scalzi created in Old Man's War, or Richard K. Morgan did in the first Altered Carbon, and kept finding disappointment after hours invested in several different selections from various authors. This Reality Bleeds series is keeping me in my chair without regret. I'm now on book three of the series and am loving every page. The action is ceaseless and the foreboding atmosphere rivetingly addictive. Bravo to the creators, fantastic job!!!

Game Over Man. Game Over.
Action packed sci fi horror at its best. If you like Doom, lovecraft, and space marines then you will love this. The non stop action will keep you on the edge of your seat. The thrills and chills are real.Even though it is tagged as Season 1 of Reality Bleed, it has an ending. Yes it is open for more. And that's good because you are going to want more of this world. Good thing there is more coming.

Improbable aliens.
When creating an alien, it seams the author was really a horror fan rather than a science fiction writer. Even though the storyline started on Mars, with un-killable worm like creatures, I just could not get into it at all.
