Perfect for my small glass kiln
Tired of having under and over fired glass pieces, I finally invested in this for my Jen Kiln which has not temperature regulator, instead you have to sort of raise the temp from low to high and use a timer to hope for the best.But no more, this has ensured that if I need 720C then I get it. No more poorly fired glass. I did have to drill the opening out a wee bit to get it to fit through the kiln wall, but it works a treat.

good temp probe to use with your PID, very steady reading, not jumping up and down with the reading

Multi use
I actually use this on a digital BBQ temp gauge and it works good. I hooked it up amd tested it before initial use and it was accurate. Me personally, I believe the accuracy is 90% machine and 10% probe and I have a good machine
