From the Corner of His Eye: A Novel

I had to put this book down many times before finishing. What would the ending be??? Loved it! Great writing as usual, Mr. Koontz!

I have just completed this Kindle Book and it was the best story I have ever read. From the Bobsey Twins when I was a young Child until now, a Senior Citizen. I will purchase the hardcover version of this book so it will always be in my collection. Great job Mr. Dean Koontz and May God bless you and your family always.

Have a dictionary nearby to read this book. Many uncommon words which became a distraction from the substance of the story for me. I never quit a book until it is finished and I'm glad persevered, the ending was worth the time invested.

This is one of Dean's best. One minute you are laughing out loud, the next minute you are in tears and then a minute later you are scared out of your wits. When I got to about 75% of the book I was almost afraid to read further for fear he would kill off one of my favorite characters. If you love Dean Koontz you cannot go wrong with this book. It is a masterpiece with one of the most horrible protagonists you can imagine, along with an absolutely amazing antagonist.

A very compelling read which melds a manic killer, child prodigies, and a strong sense of community together very well.For a number of chapters in the beginning we have characters and stories seemingly unrelated to each other. The way Mr. Koontz slowly brings them into a unity as the novel progresses makes this a difficult book to put down.At a bit over 700 pages, its long and some claim too descriptive. Koontz is one of those well-seasoned authors who possess the ability to use verbiage in his writing which goes far beyond the bland and into the genre of very interesting, sometimes amusing.The cast runs the gamut of a completely maniacal killer, a child prodigy, a loving mother, and a host of others with a strong sense of family, Tying such a diverse cast together seems almost impossible. The author does it seamlessly.In my opinion, I did find a couple flaws which keep this from 5 stars. The child prodigy undergoes an awful life changing experience; I felt he was a bit blasé and nonchalant about it. The killer, I don’t believe, got his just desserts; given his brutal history. Quantum mechanics comes into play in a rather large part later in the book. I didn’t feel it was a smooth fit with the rest of the story. Again, my opinion only.The ending wraps the book up very well. Parts are happy; others bittersweet. All in all? Enjoyable

Dean Koontz has a knack of making a story so interesting, time flies by as one gets involved with the plot.

The book arrived within the timescale. It was very well wrapped, time and care had been put into this. The book quality exceeded even the description. I would definitely buy from them again.

Having read and loved much of his work I am bowled over by this book. Such a great story, no wasted space, thrilling and moving, as well as inspiring
