Leaves a lot to be desired.
Unless you are new to football "as in day one playing, learning etc." do not order this book. I'm a past football player now with a young son who plays football. I bought the book to aid him in his journey through the sport and to primarily aid what I am teaching him as well. There is nothing in this book that can be learned, that a person could spend 15 minutes of research and find out themselves. This book should not be given any high stars. In all reality, it should not be sold to people as it is the most basic internet search info available. Very unpleased that I paid for this.

Help for a Football Ignoramus
I picked up this book because I'm living with a football-crazed family and wanted to be able to hold my own when we watched games together. It helped me understand not only the terminology but also how some of the plays work and how the different positions function and inter-relate to the other positions. While it didn't magically make me an expert, I have made a lot of progress and, with this book as a handy guide, I'll be able to continue to grow in my understanding of the game.

Perfect book for anyone wanting to play or learn about football
I bought this book specifically to remember the rules of the game just so I could participate with friends when watching a game on tv. I feel like the valuable information inside was wasted on me because the book is great for the player. I would say that every young person that wants to play football needs to read this book to be well informed and know excactly what they are getting into. This book has everything you need to know about football. Some of the information was great for me because I learned about strategies, positions and basics of the game, but there is so much more. The book explains the gear and equipment you need to play football and gives excellent advice on to what to get. It tells players how to eat to get to optimum performance and what food and supplements can help keep your body strong and healthy so that you can keep playing. It gives several stretching exercises that help keep muscles and bones toned and ready to play. There is a whole chapter on strength training with programs, techniques and exercises to build the body. It doesn't stop there. It goes into the mental part of the game, like thinking you are good at playing, visualizations, affirmations and more to keep your mind keen and focused and concentration methods to keep you in the game. There is even a section that takes anything that can go wrong in a game and tells you what you can do about it so you are prepared if it happens. The beginning player will get a wealth of information from this book, but the varsity college or high school player can also get a great deal of good information from it.

Ready for Some Football!!!!
This is a great book for any football player or, in my case, football family! This book doesn't just go over the basics of football but how an individual can become a more talented player. The fitness routines and nutritional information is very beneficial and easy to follow. This book also had motivational tips and help for setting g realistic goals. Whether you are looking to learn football basics or fine tune you skill, this book is for you! Really enjoyed this read.

useless book
This book is not for people who want to learn about the game of football. There are three or four pages devoted to how various vitamins work. I read the book for 15 minutes and then threw it away.

Football Made Easy to Understand? That's for Me!
So here it's football season, and my friends keep inviting me to their house to watch a game. Well, I usually have to make up some excuse as to why I can't go because I am too embarrassed to tell them I do not understand the game. Well now, I don't have to lie. I downloaded this book because I felt it would help me learn about the game, and it did!I had no idea how much time and effort these guys put in. Like I had no idea that the length of the field is 120 yards, and that their is a regulation football that must be used. What was really important to me was to know what each player's job is. I learned everything about the Center to the Safety.I only hope that I will be able to remember them all when I get invited to another party. Thanks Ace.

Great tips for learning football and be a better player!
„Football made easy” by Ace McCloud – very big deal in America, most popular among colleges students and younger children. McCloud describes the best techniques to warm up, exercises and equipment. Football can be dangerous so you need to pay attention on your protective wear like helmet, open or close cage face mask, shoulder pads, gloves, football pants, shoes with spikes on their soles. It is highly active sport so you need squeezed bottle of water.McCloud shows how organized are players. Describes different players depend of their position and role. I like the best the offensive formation like Wild Cat, West Coast Offence, Pistol Formation. That is very informative passage.Crucial is strength and speed exercises training at different time of the year, especially off-seasons. Beginners need 8-week adaptation training. The author presented nice and useful exercises for football players like stretching, practice speed, strength and power. It is very useful description of variety of exercise for upper body like rows, flat bench press, shrugs, military press. For lower body good are squad, leg curls. You should also practice speed like running. For strength excellent are practice variety with dumbbell like dumbbell shrug or squad. Also important is advice about good diet contains iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, sodium, vitamin C.The best mental support techniques are visualization to create positive self-image. You can visualize yourself with ball performing, be optimistic, avoid compare yourself to the others, learn how to control your fear.

Don't Waste Your Money
I bought this thinking it would be a book about how to become a better football player. After all, it's in the title of the book...My advice to you - don't waste your money on this hack job of a book. It's clearly written by someone with only a passing interest (pardon the pun...) in the game, with little-to-no experience in playing or coaching at a high level. The information contained in this book can be had by speaking with a high school level coach or player. There is absolutely nothing new to learn in this book.Content aside, the layout and flow of the book makes little sense and the author jumps from one concept to the next even when they are completely unrelated. If someone were truly new to the game of football, this book would simply serve to confuse them... for someone hoping to become a better player, it's just plain frustrating.Don't waste your money - talk to a player, coach, parent, referee, trainer, local TV sportscaster or dedicated football fan instead. It will serve you much better than this useless text.

Ganz OK
