Buy it!
This collar is fantastic. Half as bulky as the rest. Still has antenna that is supposed to point straight up but impossible to do but my range needed is only a half mile or so, so I assume with the ability to go up to 9, I will be ok with the antenna semi facing upwards more sideways. All functions work flawlessly. I have the alpha and the pro 55 plus handhelds. The alpha allows you to use all functions (sleep, light colors etc) but the 550 still allows me to turn on a light just not change colors. This is the best collar on the market for size and range, please buy it if you work dogs.

Out of the Box
Out of the box, there is only one cord and one plug for two devices - 300 and TT25 - that has to be shared between the two. For $1150, Garmin should include enough charging equipment for two devices that require charging. I also purchased a separate TT25 collar, and only the cord without the charging block was included. I contacted Garmin and their response was to "help the environment," which is BS. There's other plastic pieces included that aren't needed. It's a cheap move to cut cost on required equipment. After I use the devices I'll update my review.
