Update on this. I heard back from Zafferano and turns out this is the first version of this lamp made in 2021 which they say " started the Cordless Lighting craze"Their updates are excellent improvements and I'm glad to know that I am now the owner of one of their vintage products.I've never seen the power button look like this on any of the Zafferano lamps. Looks cheap and out of sync with the design. The rest of it looks right but I'm wondering if this is a knockoff. Can anybody clarify? I've also reached out to Zafferano but haven't heard back. This is dark grey.

Convenient and Attractive!

Excellent product, extremely well designed and made. Produces plant of light, which is dimmable. Unfortunately the dimmed setting has no memory function, so each time the unit is turned on, back to full brightness. However the dimming ability is amazing. It will dim down to being almost off. We chose this design, as the light is directed down, rather than up and down. When on a table at night, you do not get distracted by the light some models have on the top, especially when talking to someone opposite. The very small shade approximately 30mm across also doesn’t get in the way. Being IP54, it is protected from dust and light rain, perfect for outdoor use. The thin design, which large base means it can easily withstand wind gusts without being blown over.

Expensive for what it is, but you must have it! I saw this at a Micheline star restaurant and immediately decided that I had to have it, no matter the cost. I feared that this would be something that I will buy and never use, but we are obsessed about these lights and use them all the time. As it is warming up, we use them for outdoor dinners and it creates a million dollar ambience. The quality of the finish is top notch and I hope the battery will work for a long time since I paid an arm and a leg for these. I do not regret it though and they already paid for themselves. :-)

These are great for indoor or outdoor use! The light is bright, but it is directed downward to light the table. The charge lasts a very long time. All my friends who see this lamp have bought one as well. They are a little pricey, but worth it. They also make great gifts.

The brightest little lamp. Found it in a local restaurant. Use it at home all the time

Saw this light on every table in a Boston restaurant and immediately bought 3. They make any space sexy. My husband loves it on the piano. It looks great, easy to adjust the brightness and easy to move around if needed. Bought one for my bedside table. I can think of 5 more places I’d like it. (Move to the dinner table when guests come, out on the patio, fireplace mantle, you can move it everywhere.) I bought the rust color — same as the restaurant, had I not seen it there I wouldn’t know that of all of the colors it really is the best one. Looks great in daylight and at night.
