Alek and Everleigh - A love four years in the making
OMG, I hate to see this series end, and what an ending it is. I have read and enjoyed all 15 books, more than once. Alek' story was so emotional and intense, I could not put it down until the very end. This book is well written and bought in just the right amount of characters from previous books to tell this amazing story. I often wondered what could have happened to Alek. In the previous corrupted royal books he was closed off and downright rude. Now I get it. What he and Everleigh went thru prior to him attending training at St Monarch was pure hell and left him beaten and broken beyond repair because he thought the love of his life was killed. Once he discovered Everleigh had somehow survived a horrible incident his entire life changed, for the better. Not only was she alive but she had been carrying with her a small part of him all along. Once Alek found his love again, he would go thru fire to get her back into his life. With the help of his mentor Alexi and his boss Viktor, Alek quickly learned to reign in his temper so that he could win her back. He used his love for Everleigh to convince her that the strong love and bond they shared four years ago was worth fighting for. Through it all Alek was able to have the family he wanted and needed, that he so rightly deserved.I highly recommend reading this entire series. I really hate to see this series end but I can't wait to see what the writer comes up with next. After this fantastic series, the bar has been set very high.

Alek ended up being my favorite
Alek's and Everleigh's story was tragic with a beautiful ending. His father was horrible and all that happened to them could have been prevented. It's almost like he did it on purpose to see how long they could hold out. **Sigh**I'm happy Alek got his soul back and was able to smile again. Fantastic read.

Loved this story, but it's missing something
7/10 Would Recommend 🤠3/5 Spice 🌶️5/5 HEA ❤️4/5 Character Development 🎭I really enjoyed these characters and the first 60% of the book had me enthralled. The last bit though felt rushed and overall everything felt anticlimactic. Loose ends were all tied, but it just felt like a very okay end to such an excellent start the book. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this book and the entire series.

Oh, the pain & heartache, but so worth it!
Possess Me is a dark, raw, gritty book. It is filled with loads of angst and a huge variety of emotions that you feel right down to your toes. But, Possess Me is ultimately a love story, it’s not flowers and rainbow’s beautiful but it is beautiful in a different way, so, so beautiful.Aleksandr Aslanhov, or Alek as he he known as, is Bratva born and raised. He is charged with taking a certain girl and returning home with her, however, Everleigh Adams is the one kidnapped then their night becomes a hundred times worse! What a way to start a story—hooked right in!I won’t lie, I found many scenes emotionally draining because I felt like I was in each of the scenes, literally going through everything with the characters. The writing in this story is so powerful you simply can’t help but become a participant. Likewise, I also wanted to become violent toward certain characters myself and reach out to protect others at the same time.I thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with previous characters, yep… they’re like old friends, and all of the drama and action involved with them. My heart is a tiny bit… scratch that… a lot heavy that this is the end of the road for these books, as I have loved each and every one of of them. However, I know that whatever this author decides to write next, will be wonderful.

Best wait ever!!
This story is so beautiful. It’s the one I’ve looked forward to the entire series. There were tantalizing hints of his story throughout the series, and his darkness drew me to him. I wanted to know more the entire time. Now I just need to find a fine Russian man for myself ;)Read it. You want be disappointed. I suggest starting from the beginning though because the suspense is worth it!

lightness in the dark!
Dang this book dragged me through all the emotions! I did not see the intensity coming but I loved it! The start of this book is gut wrenching but you can see and feel the bond forming between Alek and Everleigh! I loved that in darkness they found the light of love! This book is full of juicy twists and I loved all the characters! There was so much to unpack but these two had the strength to do it because they were end game!

The absolute best ending to this series.
I rarely cry at the end of a book, but for this one, I did.Alek & Everleigh's story is everything you want, I promise. The writing is beautiful, and the emotions jump off the page. In many ways, it's a departure from the nature of the other books in the series, but it packs a much stronger punch to the heart. There's a HEA, don't worry, but the journey to get there is a searing, heart-wrenching story. The characters we love from previous books feature heavily in the second half, and the closure our MC's find in the end is the closure we readers need, too. This book is worth it, my friends.

So Nice and love conquers all

Amazing
I really enjoyed Everleigh and Alek's story, it was captivating, I couldn’t put my book down. What happened to them was terrible but not in a way that makes you so uncomfortable that you can’t read. It was nice how he respected her after they reconnected. I totally recommend this one.

Loved it.
The whole series was amazing. The whole story line is just too good. All your books are just brilliantly written. The whole sinners series, corrupted royals and whatever books that are connected to this story line should be made into a web series, its so good I am sure it would be a super hit. Ma'am you are a great writer, I love all ur books and would highly recommend ur books. Thankyou for writing such amazing books. :)

Wauw wauw wauw!
Michelle Heard has a way of ending a series with a bang. This book is packed with heartache, emotions and it was everything."𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥."I do not want to give away too much of the story because I liked it best knowing only what I read of the blurb. Alek goes on a mission with his father and brother but ends up being taken captive alongside Everleigh. They bond but soon are ripped apart. My heart ached so much for them. Everleigh and Alek go through hell together. I had to take two small breaks just so I could gather myself. But I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. What a story. Although Alek makes appearances in previous books, this book can be read a complete standalone. But what's the fun in that haha.

Forever and Always
POSSESS MECorrupted Royals series #5Michelle HeardPOV:Dual Alek & EverleighWe've caught glimpses of Alek in the previous Corrupted Royals books. Now we get to see what happened to him that's made him into this cold, unapproachable person.Aleksandr Aslanhov, born into the Bratva, a future soldier in the making. While on a job with his brother, Vincent, Alek manages to kidnap the wrong girl. Taking in what the intended targets outfit and not her face. Shocked by this huge mistake they're ambushed and taken.Everleigh Adams, an American travelling by herself, it's her parents graduation present to her, they had it all planned out, but tragically they died in an accident the previous year. She's on her own and Russia is the first stop. She knew it was a bad idea to swap clothes with a Russian girl at a club she knows nothing about. When leaving she's taken, then she's in an accident with her kidnappers and then they're all taken.Everleigh is completely terrified and out of her depths, while Alek is calm, like he's been trained to be.For the next few months their emotions have heightened and they develop feelings for each other, are their feelings real or just because of their situation? Alek takes the beatings for Everleigh, it's better if it's him and not her.Years pass, and they're trying to cope as well as they can with the trauma they went through. With Alek being Bratva and with all his training he still hasn't gotten over seeing Everleigh and his brother, Vincent, die in front of him. Refusing to go to therapy, he's closed himself off, becoming unpredictable, empty, cold and intense. Only Misha and Tiana understand him.Everleigh's amazed that she survived and was saved by a kind stranger. Since then she's also haunted by the horrors of what they went through, she suffers from anxiety, doesn't trust easily, never went to therapy, not wanting anyone to know what she went through. She's moved to LA, gotten herself a lovely house and opened up a bookstore. Living life as best she can, while never forgetting about Alek, not knowing if he's dead or alive. Then suddenly she comes face-to-face with him.Alek is shocked to say the least, he thought he was going crazy, thinking he's been seeing Everleigh's ghost everywhere since he's in LA working for Viktor Vetrov. Turns out, he was actually seeing Everleigh for real. She's been alive all this time, and that's not the only surprise...She's never stopped loving him. He's never stopped loving her either. But being around the Bratva and Mafia is triggering for Everleigh, will they find common ground?I can't believe this is the end of the Corrupted Royals series. Alek and Everleigh were heartbreaking. Tissues are a must! I loved this! It was great seeing characters from previous books making cameos.
