Its a good hottent
It held up well for months through lots of snow and of course you have to sweep the snow off every morning , then one night a heavy snowfall over night , the top center failed and came straight down around the center pole leaving a hole . Then had to dig it out of the snow all around it , then duck taped the top hole and put the tent back up , You will have to sweep snow off to prevent this tent from falling like that , so if you are sleeping and heavy snow happens you have to get up and sweep the snow off every so often , sometimes gently hitting the tent sides will also help depending on the type of snow ( powder or wet ) or if you are away from the base camp overnight and heavy snow happens then it may fail in the top area where the pole is . . The tent stove jack area is hard to find a fitting stove jack but with a little creativity you can make it work . Improvements of more reinforcement at the top where pole is would be good and include a stove jack or make the opening more standard sized . Would love to see this same tent in a bigger sized version with stove jack included and extra reinforced top where pole goes . Bring Duct tape just in case it will work to temporarily get you through should the tent fall from the center pole . It is a great hot tent for the price and held up for months with snow after snow . Not very many high winds but one pretty good windstorn and it stayed up fine . Good buy overall better than the other brand we had bought last winter .

Easy setup, decent quality material, and large openings
I am an avid hiker, camper, and wilderness backpacker and regularly organize camping events for as many as 45 participants. My 5 year old son has grown enough to go backpacking with me now, and last weekend we finally went into the mountains at 10,000' elevation with temperatures dipping as low as 32F at night. That was one of the main reasons I wanted a 2-person, 4-season tent: to help keep HIM warm.PROS- Easy, standard setup with 2 poles (in a X design)-- Disassembly is as fast as any standard tent- VERY bright, orange color that actually made it slightly tough to look at in full sun-- Makes it perfect for getting noticed in an emergency situation (by the way, bought a Garmin inReach Explorer+ for that and to check in with the wife that we are okay)- Tent material was surprisingly decent for this price range-- Some fuzzy threads here and there that I trimmed off-- Tent stakes are solid- Decently light weight at about 5 lbs- Tested waterproofing by throwing a hose of water at it to simulate heavy rain-- Stood up like a champ with no liquid inside- Rainfly has flaps at the bottom that help regulate temperature-- Can be held down with snow (or dirt) to keep as much heat within the tent as possible--- We did not encounter snow, but I did add small rocks over the flaps. When temps dropped to 30F, we were comfortably snug on the inside-- Can be folded up to let air circulate and keep the inside more cool- No condensation in the morning because I lifted the rainfly on two ends up wide and high- Two, large doors on both sides, allowing either person to enter and exit- Zippers were smooth to operate- Vestibule areas created by the rain fly are big enough to house an 85L backpack and hiking boots- Inside fits me well at 5'8" with a few inches to spare at both the feet and head-- A second adult can comfortably lay side-by-side- Guy lines have teeth towards the end to hold the rope securely in place- Adjustable rainfly ceiling vents secured with velcro- 2 mesh pockets on the inside- Overhead mesh net- Hook at the middle of the ceiling to hang a lantern- Comes with a pouch to hold the tentCONS- Wish the meshed windows at both doors were bigger to allow even more air in but still keep the mosquitoes out-- May not be cool enough for hot weather without allowing mosquitoes to enter- Instructions for setting up the tent were not attached to the carry pouch and could be lost if not put away nicelyTIPS- Footprint was not included. You should purchase one to protect the bottom of the tent from scratches so it can be used for many more trips-- Bought a Geertop 2p footprint (4'7" x 6'11") for it (ASIN: B01E0TDH2O)- Keep the footprint slightly smaller than the size of the tent to keep the rain water from pooling- Ensure the tent is not twisted where the stakes are. A twisted area can help rain water enter the tentFINAL THOUGHTSOverall, I am quite happy with the tent. It is lightweight enough for backpacking, withheld against the cold elements well, and the bright orange makes it easier for search and rescue to find us, if we ever (hopefully never) find ourselves in an emergency situation. I also have a Big Agnes $400 3-person tent, but for less than $100, this tent quite surprised me.

Only comes with one pole for center of tent
Fabirics seem very durable, tent stakes are very durable and did not bend when it hit a large rock during setup. Very lightweight and easy to setup. Cannot wait to use this on my over nights

Remarkably good
I do a fair amount of winter camping in Yellowstone, both front- and back-country, and have been doing this sort of thing for well over 40 years. My current winter tent is the venerable Walrus Rapide XV, which is a mountaineering bomb-shelter. I wanted a winter tent with more ventilation and head room, understanding that this would come at the expense of being able to weather the worst of winter. I saw this on Amazon and its design looked pretty good, so for 80 bucks, why not? I just got back from 2 nights of camping in Yellowstone during a winter storm and the tent did amazingly well and was quite comfortable. It has great ventilation up at the peak of the tent and along the tops of the doors, both well covered by the fly. Condensation and frost on the inside of the tent were minimal. Set up and take-down are easy: 4 stakes for the tent, 4 for the fly. Get new stakes for winter camping as the pins that come with it will neither hold in packed snow, nor penetrate frozen ground. I use big, heavy 10" nail-style stakes for campgrounds, and wide, aluminum snow stakes for backcountry. 2 nits: the tent is a bit short, so there were only a few inches of space off each end of my sleeping pads. The width, however is plenty for 2 campers and a medium size dog. The other nit is the lack of usable vestibules. The 15" shown in the diagram is only enough for a pair of boots (which you should keep inside with you anyway). There is no way, you could safely cook or boil water under the fly, which is often a necessity in the backcountry, but this wouldn't be a big deal in a campground. For folks looking for a really good value in a winter-capable tent, this is really hard to beat.

Bargain teepee tent
Temporary setup in the backyard. It's big enough for solo camping, and if you remove the internal mesh tent, even two people will be fine. The color of the tent is darker than the picture and I like it. The center pole is thick and strong. However, the internal mesh tent is much smaller than the external one, so it is better to remove it, or purchase a large one separately. I want to try it on a rainy day.

Awesome all the way around
I went camping with this tent, which is very spacious for 1 person. What I disliked In the fact that the zipper for the door separated the very first time use. It was still a good buy

Love it!
Exactly what I needed, love the rain fly and mosquito netting, nice touches for a small price.

With the inner bathtub and mesh - not a very well thought out design.
I bought this to serve as a hot tent, with the expectation that the inner mesh and bathtub section would take up half the size of the tipi tent, which it does not.The inner tent affixes to the outer tent at 4 points on the ground, and a single point at the top. Other designs I’ve used have inner mesh that also affixes to the walls of the outer tent so they are effectively pulled out towards the outer tipi tent, creating space. The effect of this is that the inner mesh tent is effectively drooped over you so it’s hard not to be in contact with some portion of the mesh at any given time. If you’re touching the mesh mosquitos (and presumably some other insects) can still bite you through it. And they went to town on me when I used this tent.If you don’t intend to use the inner mesh and want to run without it or the floor, I think this tent is actually pretty nice with only the outer tent. But if you want to use the bathtub floor and mesh, it’s a disappointment.

exceptional value , cheapest hot tent avaible
Did not expect much of a 50$ tent ... i was pleasantly surprised with it . This thing is well put together, fabric seems rugged, seams are taped and tigth ,only the inner tent seems to be the wrong size , strange ... lot of space lost ( one star lost ..) otherwise i'm happy , i installed a leftover stovejack from a Pomoly tent i have , ditched the inner tent et voila ! Cheap and compact hot tent for 50 bucks ! Perform well , i only used in the snow ,so waterproofing is still to be verified .

Can't beat the price
Extremely cheap price in terms of Hot tents. Stove jack is not included but price reflects that. Lots of guy lines and stakes included. The inner tent is tricky to position in just the right spot but it's not needed with a stove inside. Zipper does get jammed quite a bit and a snow skirt would be ideal but it's a great starter tent to get into hot tenting.

Great value for the price.
For someone just getting into hot tenting, can't go wrong. Mine has been set up in my yard fo 3 weeks now. We've had rain, freezing rain, significant snow fall, high winds. Gotta say the tent has held up perfectly. No leaks at all, no rips in material from heavy snow loads. Spent 3 nights in it with -15c Temps. The tent with my small homemade woodstove kept me toasty warm and dry. If you're unsure about hot tenting, this is a great way to test the waters without spending a ton of money. Also, unlike many other more expensive tents, this comes with the half tent mesh inner. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the tent pegs are not the best quality. Also does not come with a stove jack. I made my own from a dollar store silicone bbq mat and some velcro strips, cost under $10.Would recommend, would purchase again.
