The Fire Bowl Set comes complete with stand and grill and waterproof cover. It can be used simply as a fire pit or, with the grill placed on the bowl, as a barbecue. Each bowl is hand crafted from recycled steel sections - each hand riveted together. The bowl sits on the robust wrought iron stand and has a removable grill. The bowls are styled on the large cooking (kadai / karahi) bowls used in ceremonies and for cooking 'street food' in India. Fantastic Kadai fire bowl, extends outdoor living to all year round.
I've used this a few times now, once for cooking as well as a fire, and other times just as a fire. It gives out a great heat and of course it doesn't matter where you sit, everyone gets the same heat and a view of the fire. Much better in this respect than the chiminea that I had for years.It comes with a really solid stand and grill, plus a perfect sized cover to use when not in use. I used charcoal for barbecuing the food in the normal way, and after we were finished eating I just removed the grill, added some kindling then logs, and had a really good fire for as long as I wanted. It's definitely going to extend outdoor living into the autumn and winter.As well as doing exactly what you'd expect it to do, it also looks great too. It's very solid and rustic-looking and I expect it will last for 100 years. I put a bit of broken plant pot over the drain hole, then tipped a bag of sand into it to about 2 inches deep. This will protect the base of it from the intense heat and also raises the level of the charcoal up a bit for when you are barbecuing.I had looked at a few of these Kadai fire bowls and this was the best I saw and also I thought a good price too. Michael answered any questions I had almost immediately and is a friendly genuine guy. Delivery was very quick and I received updates daily from Michael and the delivery company. It arrived very well boxed and also well covered in bubble wrap. No assembly required at all, simply unpack and you're good to go.Highly recommended.

Excellent product - great value for money
This is a fabulous product. I would recommend it to anyone interested in buying this type of 'brazier/fire bowl'. I searched the internet for something like this as we had seen it at a music festival. There are a variety of bowls out there at varying prices. This one is of great quality and of a reasonable price. It is very sturdy on the low tripod ring. It is of heavy make, the bowl of decent thickness and the rivets are very nicely done. A sturdy product. Really a great addition to the garden and the ability to extend the evening as you can't rely on it staying warm outside.We tested it last night and it was easy to set up, prepare, light and keep going. The children all loved the fact they could just sit around safely and toast marsh mellows. (Normal rules for being safe around fires apply of course).The added bonus is the great customer service. I ordered through Amazon because of the fast delivery and added a note requesting for urgent dispatch for a birthday. Michael came back straight away and acknowledge he would send it off for next day delivery and so it did. He also very helpfully sent a 1 pager with user instructions which was great as we were new to the product. All in all 10 out of 10. Thanks Michael and Amy.

Great purchase
Brilliant, good quality fire bowl and quick delivery. We’ve had some great BBQ evenings and it is perfect for cooking with a Dutch oven. We also enjoy throwing a few logs on and sitting in front of the fire with friends. Our new fire bowl has turned our garden into another room of the house!

I wasn't sure if I'd make a mistake spending so much on a fire pit but I'm so pleased I did. It's really well made with nice and heavy ironwork. The stand and grate fit well as does the cover. Delivery was within 48 hours. All-round excellent service. Thanks.
