The HYTIG-200 is a lightweight and incredibly versatile single phase TIG/MMA welder from Hyundai.

Weighing 12kg, the HYTIG-200 is easy to carry around thanks to its adjustable harness and lightweight pressed steel case with powder coated finish for extra corrosion resistance. The HYTIG-200 TIG welder features a stepless regulator for infinite variable control of the welding current with a low current facility for effective welding of thinner materials. The welding (output) current of the HYTIG-200 can be regulated within the range of 10-200 Ampere making the HYTIG-200 adjustable to suit welding different materials and thicknesses of steel.

Beware of lower quality models by always checking the ‘Duty Cycle’. Duty cycle is the amount of time, within a 10 minute period the welder can be used, on a given output. For example, our 200A welder has a duty cycle of 60% when used on 200A output (TIG), or 60% when used on 160A output (MMA/ARC). This means it can be used for three and a half minutes in every 10 minute period.

Cheaper, lower quality welders claim to be a certain Amperage output, but can have a very low duty cycle on the output they have claimed. Always check the duty cycle to ensure you are getting the best value for money.
