Does it work on Diesel engines

Yes worked in my van, I also use the oil supplement at 5 to one, ie 1 qrt lucas oil to 4 quarts engine oil or same for gearbox, really good stuff saved my engine when run out of oil due to burst oil filter seal.

How often should this be used

There is NOT a set answer I believe...I do it ever 3th Oil change (1500miles) on my motorcycle.
