Brutalize Me (Corrupted Royals)

This is the third book I've read of hers, and I am really enjoying these interconnected stories. I like that her characters have different personalities, and each has a different journey. The spicy scenes are well written. I do have to nitpick one thing, she uses the words mutter and murmur a lot, and it is sort of grating on my nerves, so I try to skip over those words if I can.

So good. Yes I know the violence might get some people. But this is real life, maybe not quite like this, but close. Knowing how children in the Russian orphanage’s have suffered, I can empathize with these two. Brother and sister💔this unfortunately happens all over the world 🌎, even here in the United States. Only the children are in foster homes, where they are supposed to be taken care of🤬. And yes the Italian Mafia is on that some what order…..but most do love their families. For these young people and how they pull together 🥰🫶👍🏻…really enjoyed this book. And you’ll love the next one about Alek.

Armani De Santis gets his story and what a fantastic one it is too. It might be a tad greyer than other books by this author but it is still filled with excitement, drama and action, as well as being another excellent example of how versatile she is as a writer. So much happens I literally couldn’t put it down. It was terrific getting to know Armani too and catching up with Misha, Aurora and Alek, plus Luca and Viktor.In previous books I didn’t get an overwhelming impression of Armani but in this book, of course, I love learning all there is about him. He is definitely a tough mafioso soldier but he is also a loving son and nephew, he is a caring and supportive friend as well as a protective and caring husband. Can you tell I like him? 😁 Special mention must go to his mamma and aunt, what fabulous characters they are too.Meeting Tiana Petrov is a sheer delight and my heart just about broke when she shared about her past trauma, as well as Misha’s. My fury was inflamed too, with the way they had been treated and the way Tiana is still being by a rotter. I couldn’t have thought of a better partner for Armani than this beautiful girl.Oh darn, Ms Heard, went and did it again, I have tears rolling down my face—happy tears though. I won’t spoil it for other readers, I am sure they will know which scene I mean towards the last thirty percent of the story. It’s just perfect, so beautiful and everything I could have envisioned for Tiana. ♥️ And talk about the perfect ending, I absolutely loved it. This story is sensational and honestly, I don’t have the right words to express how great it is—but trust me, it is!

I am so happy I got read Tiana’s story!Armani was intriguing in the first 2 books so to read about him falling in love in this book was so nice.***SPOILER**After he held the gun to Tiana’s head thinking she betrayed him, I felt like there should have been a longer time for her to trust him again but I think the story over all was really good!!There’s less spice in this book than the first 2 and the spice in this book wasn’t has “dirty” as the other.This story focuses a lot more on the emotional build up of Armani and Tiana’s relationship which was beautiful.

Some readers might think Tiana, the heroine in Brutalize Me, is too gentle, too soft-spoken, too reclusive, too introverted. With her past I can see why she is, but she's not. In her own quiet way she's strong and resilient, even after living the sad, unloved life she has led. Other than her brother, Misha, she hasn't known much love in her life. Then it's love at first sight when she meets Armani, Misha's friend, an enforcer for the Italian mob. I was delighted to see Armani was a gentleman, absolutely falling for the quiet Tiana as he did. The only reason I gave Brutalize Me a 4 star rating and not a five are a few reasons. The title, Brutalize Me, doesn't reflect the story. Armani doesn't show his enforcer qualities until late in the story and is never brutal up until then. And also, because his character was so gentle (he adores his mother in Italy which is so sweet) throughout most of the story it came as a surprise when he does do his mafia job in the end, but it just doesn't seem part of his true nature and character. Perhaps its just me. Still, it was a pleasant change to read a mafia novel that wasn't as dark as the usual genre are. The novel was flawless in its technique presentation too, which I always appreciate.

Ugh loved their story. It kept me engaged and I fell in love and invested in their story. It's so beautiful!! I cried when Tiana was running away. Love her heart. Love Misha for being the best brother. Armani loved him but he made me mad at that one moment of doubt. The ending freaking heart warming. Loved it

This story warmed my heart. The love story of Tiana and Armani was warm and compassionate. Although there are some rough and raw depictions in the story, for me, the story is well written. Loved Armani and adored Tiana. ❤️📖❤️

I really enjoyed! I love these kind o stories, where the H is obsessed with the h and so what it takes to be with her! Sweet!!!

Absolutely amazing!! So much emotion I couldn't put it down till the end. Worth every single tear...Can't wait for the next book in the series❤

Super funcionou comigo.E como a experiência foi boa, com certeza lerei outras obras da autora.

Overall it was good, I just found their love forced and sudden, plus I hated their first time. "I can’t go slow". Oh, COME ON.. I complained about the same thing in the first book of the series so I won’t give as many details as why I hated it.

This is the 3rd book in this series and you should start reading from book 1 even though they are standalones because this world will captive you until the very end.Corrupted Royals is book 3 is a brother’s best friend, arranged marriage, mafia romance book with insta love vibes.This is Tiana and Armani story.Thank is such a sweet caring woman and her brother is Misha. They both grew up hard andall she has ever wanted is to have a home that's her own and to be and feel loved she will do anything for anyone she loves. All that goes out the window when her father arranges a marriage for her to an abusive horrible man.Armani makes a promise to her brother that he will take care of her and honor his promise. He knows he will marry his sister at some point but wasn't expecting it this fast. After Tiana calls him desperate for help he knows when he sees her he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe.(NO SPOILERS)This is an insta love romance between these two and I love that even though they are thrown together so fast that Armani is so very protective of her. I love how this author has written these characters and that even though Tiana seems weak she actually really strong. I'm loving being in this worldI can't wait to read book 4 in this series because I'm totally gripped inside this world.Check the trigger warnings too
