Something went wrong within 24 hours of installation. The motion detector was working as expected, but the range for the remote, which had been good to like 20 feet for the first few hours, dropped to about 8 inches after that. I figured it was just a junk battery, so I went to the store and bought a new CR2025, and some AAA batteries for the main detector, and it still didn't increase the range much. Maybe up to three feet.I notified the seller, and they sent out a replacement unit and remote. I put the new batteries in this one and it seems to work a little better for now (only been using it one day). Range on the remote still isn't 20 feet... but it's up to about ten.UPDATE:The seller contacted me after reading my review and offered an updated replacement unit:GREENCYCLE Motion Sensor DoorbellThe new unit works much better for my situation. I have the detector/transmitter unit installed in a back yard shed, and the receiver unit sits in my kitchen, about 40 feet away. The unit in the shed reliably detects motion, and sends an audio and visual alert (changeable) to the receiver, located in the kitchen.Great customer service for reaching out to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase! The product works great as well.

I put this over my bedroom door and I turn it on at night to wake me up if my dogs come into my room needing to go out. I’m a sound sleeper and it has lots of choices of light and sounds to wake you.Now I have happy pets and no messes to clean up!

Product looked as advertised: unit with remote. Easy instructions. Battery powered unit with battery included. Battery also comes with remote. Comes with micro USB to power unit without battery. Swivels full 360 degrees and moves up and down. Can set different sound modes with different color lights. Can turn sound down and color off. Moved 12 feet away and offset two feet on either side of the sensor and the unit activated sound and color. Set with woman's voice that said, "Hello, welcome." That was nice. Good deal.

This motion sensor & alarm is built much more solid and with more quality than I had expectations for!The buttons on the receiver are quality. They are NOT flimsy at all. Very positive and firm when pushed. The motion detection is 100% sensitive and reliable. Lot's of built in adjustment (angling the unit) to set the sensitivity/direction to exacting desires. I wanted motion detection at a doorway but not the stairwell leading directly to the door. It was easy to move and/or adjust the unit to get exactly what I wanted. In an era where many products are flimsy/cheap & poorly built, this was very refreshing! I fully expect this to last many years and of course - I highly recommend this for anyone looking for this type of device. You can hang the receiver on a wall or place it on it's included stand for placement anywhere. It does not need a power outlet as it is run by batteries. You can also purchase mini-USB power cords to plug these into an outlet if you prefer. Bottom line; for the price, you won't be disappointed.

The remote is small and a bit flimsy. The remote's signal also appears to be pretty weak and I have difficulty getting the sensor to arm through a single pane glass window where I have it set up to sense detection at my back walkway. If I get three inches away from the sensor on the other side of the window then I can get it to activate with the remote without having to go outside. The battery also seems to run down quickly. If this came with a better remote transmitter I wouldn't have anything bad to say about this product

We love the new door motion sensor! We needed it for our martial arts school so that way we can know when someone comes in! The sensor was easy to install, and it picks up up motion easily! We also loved that you can change the sounds to even play music or an alarm sound that would scare anyone if you were out and they came in! It was very fun! Overall great product!!

The audible voices are not to my desired taste. Most of them are not English. I just wanted a ding sound like a doorbell or chime sound. It's now on "Hello, Welcome" that is okay till it's like 1000th time. I also need one with a delay between alerts. If a person is under this alarm it just keeps going off, over and over again. Great for motion as its exactly what I asked for but I should have thought of the customer standing at door way. My speaker is at least 100 yards away and after 2 month still going strong. Speaker is adjustable volume, that is crucial and works well.Value / cost = well worth it.
