Masterplug does it again..
I've always used Masterplug extension leads since 2000 (i think, around then..), they are long lasting. Safe and reliable over time. And at this point I refuse to use anything inferior.I have a few electrician friends, one retired who worked in the trade 40 years, who say they are definitely the best brand when it comes to extensions. I've never used their heavy duty selection, but i'd imagine they are simply toughened versions of these designed for outdoor use in dry weather (though it seems they have general use outdoor ones too).The one thing I will say which is applicable for all extension leads is if your house is susceptible to damp/mould do check the contacts on the plug every now and again as you do not want them to become rusted. If they are rusted i'd get an electrician out to replace the front plate too. It's just basic home maintenance and safety.!!!Also make sure the little bit of cardboard covering the plug when you receive it is removed, this is a hazard and is only included to show you the wiring diagram for the plug.!!!

Pesky power indicator light!
Got exactly what I ordered, no cheap imitations as others have posted. Slightly annoying that it can't be wall mounted, but knew that when I bought it. Don't under estimate the brightness of the power indicator light, I use this in the bedroom to have a fan plugged in nowhere near my sockets, hence the 10m cord, but the red power indicator light is so bright I will need to either break into the socket part to remove it, or tape over the end where the light is to stop it glowing in the dark and keeping me awake at night!
