Quiet hum for a smooth bum
By hook or by crook I'll give the first unbiased review in the book. Have used the 6mm comb on our miniature schnauzer and I am very pleased with the smooth finish. Her fur is fine but dense and found that it works best to go fairly steady and let the fur slide into the cutting blades. Plus dogs have quite loose skin and it's easier to see if you are pulling the skin around her tum when you go slower. The gentle hum it makes, together with very high revs is really impressive for under £20. I was looking at groomers 18 months ago and decided not to spend the £130 needed to get owt decent. These must be fairly new to the market and I would recommend for DIY doggers (Car Share Reference). I believe that these are originally men's hair clippers and I would be sceptical whether they would work on thick fur. The blades have 24 teeth compared to Andis groomer blade having 17 and the speed is twice as fast - I can't believe that thick fur would slip into the cutting zone. Or as Paddy would say "Let the fuzzer see the fur".

Not as good as I expected!
Clipper works well on its own but difficult to control the depth of cut without a comb fitted. It is very quiet and cool running, but with the plastic combs fitted it does not do a good job on a fine haired Llassa Apso. Hair gets knotted into the comb very quickly, and needs to be cleared too frequently. I may have to resort to using good scissors. I have now bought two cordless clippers and in both cases the plastic depth comb's don't work. Can anyone advise a really good clipper?

Still going strong!
I have had several clippers in my time and these are up there with the best. They cut very nicely and don’t pull on the hair. The battery will easily last for several trims of my small dog, (although I charge it after every use). I under estimated how amazing having cordless clippers would be! I will never buy corded again after using these! It’s easy to maintain and keep clean and after several (over 10) hair cuts, these are showing no signs of slowing down!

Good product so far
Good product so far. Did a very good job. Quiet running, very little vibration when holding, added bonus that this can be battery powered as well as mains. I have not used the accessories so cant commment on those. overall a good buy.
