Very capable Lab Mixer
Bought based on the reviews and it matched up to them.Sturdy base to mount onto and extended vertical post allowing lifting of mixer out of vessel without coming off the post.Setting the speed is easy and the allowance of the two different mixer types useful. One fixed four blade and the other with foldable blades which allow you drop into narrow opening containers then the centrifugal force once spinning throws them out to perform the mixing.Worked on a product which went very viscous > 5000cP, sped up to 1000rpm and still mixing.Would recommend as cheaper than alternatives, with no apparent downside.

Great tool!
Considering that alternatives are 5x the price. This tool does exactly what I need it too! Motor is nice and quiet too.

Excellent quality industrial grade overhead stirrer
The media could not be loaded. A sturdy, powerful, effective laboratory grade overhead stirrer. The stirrer is straightforward to set up once you know where each piece goes, either from looking at a picture of the assembled device or from the video in the online listing. It takes a little while to set up at just the right height for the container/project in hand. An Allen key is supplied for tightening the safety ring, which helps to make sure the main body of the machine doesn't slip downwards during use. Measuring jugs are to be obtained separately, so I used a Pyrex jug which I keep for non-food craft purposes. The speed of rotation can be varied from very low to very fast, with 2 different types of paddle - one straight and one with a cross-shaped head. Removing the measuring/stirring beaker is easy as, once the chuck is loosened, the rod is simply lifted upwards, and can protrude upwards out of a hole in the top of the machine to raise and lower it. The chuck is tightened/loosened by hand, requiring no key. A non-slip mat is supplied, to be adhered to the grey base, which is necessary as otherwise the force of the stirring can cause the measuring beaker to move on the base at high speeds.I ordered the stirrer after much thought, hoping it would be suitable for mixing resin and liquid silicone for making moulds, as I have difficulty stirring, especially for several minutes on end. Whilst the machine can do these things, it's designed for industrial, laboratory or school lab use, not for domestic settings. I don't work in a lab (just have a science degree from too long ago!). I tried a little silicone mixture which I had left over from a previous project, which even though it's viscous the machine stirred very well, however even working slowly with the paddles supplied there were air bubbles. Having since looked around, I think a paddle with a taller end/different shape is recommend for the purpose I had in mind, and the machine is very big, much more suited to a laboratory environment. It's also very heavy, especially the base, which is a really good thing to keep it stable even when stirring at high speeds. The base has non-slip feet and doesn't move at all. Spare parts for the stirrer can be purchased separately. Even though the machine is excessive for the purpose I had in mind, it's very well built, impressive in function and has been a privilege to use.

excellent
I bought this ONiLAB Electric Overhead Stirrer for my home brewing setup. It's decent for the price, but has some pros and cons.Pros:- Digital display is easy to read- Wide speed range is useful- Included stand is sturdyCons:- A bit noisy at higher speeds- Controls take some getting used to- Stirring rod feels a little flimsyOverall, it works for my needs, but I'm not blown away. It's an okay choice if you're on a budget, but there might be better options out there if you can spend more.

Low price and good quality
I’ve been impressed with this mixer, it’s much cheaper than the bigger brands and it has mixed just as well. It stands solidly and all the components seem well made without any issues in adjustments. The variable speeds seem consistent and accurate and the modes all work as they should. It’s very easy to uses and is intuitive to use, the controls are clear and easy to work.I have nothing bad to say about this, it far out punches its weight class and after running for some time it was not overheating or showing any wavering signs of consistency.I would say it offers great value for money and it certainly good enough to trust.
