Hi can i use an rca phono cable to connect to the monitors am aware you can use a female xlr cable but it's there an option. thanks

I don't have the mixer readily available a the moment but I'm pretty sure the monitor output is on 1/4" jack. However, you can get a phono to jack adapter from Maplin or similar and that will work fine.You can download the manual from the Behringer site if you want to look in more detail. Hope this helps

Sorry, you cannot. This is not a midi controller. Look at nektar P1. Affordable solution. Now if you need the capability of having inputs you have to go further on expenses to a tascam model12,24..

Does the desk accept conventional jack plug mics

Yes . Underneath each " Mic " socket .. on each channel .. is a normal jack plug socket . This is an awesome piece of Kit !

Can you record multiple tracks separately into a DAW?

I don't Record through this Behringer X1222USB,it's Audiophile Quality,the Sound is very Dull,I Record Direct from Pulse USB Card Recorders Or my Marantz CDR631,The Behringer is Not Musical Enough,it's Only Use is to Split multiple Channels,& The bus sends the Signals To be recorded or played back to where it is Routed to i.e my X1222 has 12 Channels plus Rca Stereo 2 track ins & Outs to Record to Hard disc, C.D or Analogue Tape,Sometimes thru the USB into a Computer,this Interface is Designed to be used for Band Rehearsals or Live Music,with the Option to Monitor & Record All Channels Simultaneously,i Prefer to Use Lexicon For this Which is Far more Accurate with TRS plus 4 RCA ins & Outs to Record & Play in Digital i use Chord,QED & Van Damme terminated with Neutrik,Chord Cables are 1 of the Best!I i Also am Recording Music via many Sources into a Zoom R8 Memory Card Recorder These Mixers i'm using are very Accurate & Sound I Attain is very Close to Ultimate Stereo Seperation!Behringer Has a very Ignorant Customer Services team who Fail to Respond & Do not Register the 3 Year Warrantee that Every other Professional Grade Lexicon Equipment Does!
