Not worth the hassle. Absolute rubbish. It cracked after the first hour

This product I found to be useless. Other versions of similar product can be used to pre-freeze liquids. This one requires it to be put EMPTY in freezer and UPSIDE DOWN and cool or ambient liquid added later - defeating the purpose of this kind of product. Even so it still cracked and leaked after being put in freezer and later filled. Total waste of time product.

I recently bought one, having dropped my previous drinkstuff Frosty Mug onto a concrete floor, having had it & used it daily for a couple of years. I think it's great for what it is, (albeit overpriced by about 50%! hence the 4 stars).However, I note that in negative reviews customers' mugs have cracked after a short while & I suspect I know the reason.The instructions suggest you freeze your mug in a freezer compartment of a fridge, not in a freezer as such. Now, despite being somewhat rare nowadays, a fridge's "freezer compartment" only goes down to around -5C & claims to keep prefrozen food edible safely for one month.A dedicated freezer typically freezes down to -18C, over 3 times as cold & will allegedly keep food for 3 months. This is over three times as cold as the manufacturer's recommended freezing temperature, & I'd suggest that the acrylic of the mug simply won't stand a temperature so low without fracturing.I suspect that those who have experienced cracking have simply assumed it's OK to stick it in a 'deep freezer' at -18C, as fridges with a dedicated little freezer compartment are slightly antediluvian nowadays.Read the Instructions carefully I'd respectfully suggest.

I ordered this as part of my Christmas shopping, and am very pleased with it.

Poor Quality item - Poor outcome from Seller and Amazon due to not using the item right away. Only that you have to put at least 1 star to submit I wouldn’t give any.Used both recently for the first time to find they crack and liquid flows out as your using them.

I've pretty much given up on these mugs. We've had one or two different brands over the years. They always seem to split (this one has a crack in it within a month and the liquid is leaking out!) To be honest it's a flawed concept. the truth is the perspex/plastic that all the manufacturers are using just can't handle being repeatedly frozen and defrosted over and over again.

👉 Sur les photos vous voyez la chope sortant du congélateur. Dans son état normal elle est transparente. Là elle est givrée, normal.💡 Il faut impérativement la congeler tête en bas, c’est bien indiqué sur le mode d’emploi et ils insistent. Je n’ai pas bien compris pourquoi, la dilatation devrait se faire de la même manière tête en bas ou pas, mais c’est ce que j’ai fait, faut pas contrarier une chopine.👉 La chope est en plastique translucide à double paroi et cet espace entre les deux parois est rempli à moitié d’un liquide incolore qui se congèle.👉 Il n’y a pas d’odeur particulière et le bord de la chope n’est pas désagréable en bouche.👉 Mais on a bien quand même la sensation de boire dans du plastique.👉 La contenance de 38 cl est un peu petite à mon goût, mais sinon le produit est sympa.Je reviendrai préciser mon commentaire dans quelques semaines quand il fera plus chaud.📦✍😃 J'espère ne rien avoir oublié et que ce commentaire vous permettra de faire votre choix. Es ist Vorsicht geboten,Kühlflüssigkeit läuft aus.Ist schon der zweite Krug der -DEFEKT- ist.Leider habe ich die Rückgabe verpasst.Wichtig ist das die Kunden über die Bewertung aufmerksam werden.

Ich habe diesen Krug meinem Bruder zum Geburtstag geschenkt. Er fand die Idee genauso witzig wie ich, auch wenn der Becher nur aus Plastik ist. Die Verarbeitung scheint gut zu sein, für den Preis absolut in Ordnung.
