Excellent and well-structured book on Advanced French. Very clear explanations and work plans.

The topics are varied and interesting to adult learners unlike some other text books which are more directed at teenage interests.There are no English translations for instructions or anything else, which is hard going at times.I find the audio exercises are spoken far too quickly to understand but my ability is at a much lower level. It's the class book so that's why I bought it.

Upon using the Méthode de français textbook I discovered that the CD ROM has an error and would not play whenever I inserted it in a radio. I tried at least three radios, with the same result. All radios that the CD was placed in displayed messages reading: please check the CD/ please remove CD / CD error.The only working CD is the CD in the Cahier D'activités. I had no problem playing that CD in my radio. However the CD in the Alter Ego Méthode de français is NOT WORKING. I am really going to need the CD for the Méthode de français to help me with my studying. Only one working CD will not suffice.
