I bought this yarn to make my grandson a scarf so he can be seen by his parents if they go out when it's dark. As you can see it glows brilliantly after being in natural daylight.Well worth the money I paid.

Very easy to follow instructions and looks exactly like the picture. Highly recommend for beginners to amigurumi or for experienced people who need a quick project.🙂

I got a little bit into it until I realised this instead for me. The product itself is good and calming to do, but I have a lot of things to do and this take too much time to learn. Also took 1 star off because the video it shows to follow uses some other tools that are not provided.

I used this yarn to crochet a owl Teddy for my son. The amount was in a vacuum sealed bag and looked horrible. On opening the smell from it was questionable but put it down due to how packaged. The balls where really small for what I expected. They do glow like stated after 24 hours on windowsill and under a lamp. Sadly it didn't take long to free and come undone. I think this is due to how hard it was to crochet with and trying to find the right hook before damaging the yarn beyond use. It would split as crocheting and was stiff to pull threw loops or stitches. If needed for another glow project I'd buy again but extra to have a proper play with and see if I can find the right hook so as not to destroy it. Son did love it too.

This yarn is not like wool, it’s stringy and tough. Not soft like normal yarn. There is no stretch to it at all which makes it almost impossible to decrease stitches.Would be better used to ‘sew in’ a pattern on crocheted items.It’s more like a low budget sewing thread.Not sure if it glows either…..

I have managed to knit a small Teddy bear with 2 balls of yarn. But it does glow in the dark. And nearly £12 for 2 balls of yarn. Very disappointed. My great grandson will be disappointed as well, as he asked me to make it.

The yarn is super cool, but it wasn’t what I expected and that is my fault. I did not read the whole information about the yarn. I am going to try a couple of different projects with it and see what I think but I had bought it to make a pair of slippers and I should’ve read more about it.

The glow in the dark isn’t really good at glowing, the yarn is a lot thinner than the description of it and the skeins are absolutely tiny. Would be alright but it’s expensive for such low quality yarn

I’m a beginner and bought a cheap beginners set which was impossible to follow. I bought this slightly more expensive set and I’m impressed with how complete it is. It even came with extra yarn to practice with. The manuals are very readable and easy to follow. I still have to start the project but wanted to write a review because the overall reviews complain on how expensive it is. I disagree. Can’t wait to start!
