This TOY is so fun that I had to buy two to give to the kids for Christmas. Many bad reviews saying the crane is not strong enough to grab anything, but neither are the real ones at the arcades. If you have ever played those big claw machines, you know how hard it is to grab something. This toy is exactly the same, you'll need some skills and patience, and maybe some shaking will help to change the position of the sweets so you can grab them better. It took me 1 hour to empty the machine filled with a variety of sweets and toys (Celebrations, Lindt Lindor, Kinder Choco-Bons, Fruit-tella wraps, small plastic cars, Paw Patrol cake toppers...). The best sweets are the twist wrapped ones, the crane grabs them easily on the sides. It might not be made with the best quality materials but I think it's more than acceptable for the price. And the customer service is great too!

After reading lots of reviews of this claw machine,I was a bit sceptical.many saying it was rubbish,wouldn't lift things, weak claw etc.But,as my son loves claw machines I went ahead and purchased it anyway.And I'm so glad I did!Let's be clear here,this isn't a £2000 claw machine you play in arcades,it's a kids toy,but in saying that,it's a GREAT toy as long as you arent expecting to win cuddly toys,and anything with any weight.Knowing it was a relatively novelty inexpensive toy,I decided to buy snall appropriate little prizes for it(see photos)-little bags of "snaps",sweeties,party bag fillers like those little suction hoppers,frogs that jump,bendy men,etc..these are all perfect for it...and great fun.The claw isn't strong(would you expect it to be??),but does lift these lightweight novelties.I also scumpled up some "post-it"notes with prizes written in them,like "20p","trip to the park","Extra sweet treat"...kids loved winning these and opening up the post-it to find out the prize.So,don't expect a robust,strong mechnical claw that will lift your own body weight,but do expect hours of fun with little party bag filler toys and sweets.I was most pleasantly surprised by this product and highly recommend.

The kids love this... it's not perfect but they've had plenty of use from it. Tried all sorts of sweets and treats. Toys from kinder eggs are good as bonus prizes. Best to not completely fill it, maybe 20-30 sweets at a time or the claw just fails plus there are a couple of black spots where it can't reach. A few Maom Pinballs and a handful of Starburst or Jelly Beans work well. Make sure you leave it empty once finished or it can be fiddly to clean. Can be unscrewed and reassembled if you really have to.

Nice looking - suggest keeping the music off as would drive you nuts.build quality is ok for the moneyAs per the fair not easy to pick up sweets, meaning the kids have to work harder for treats :)Took them about 30 seconds to figure out by turning onto side you can cheat as the sweets fall out easily,also the money slot isn't very effective as the switch is too high to can be activated even by a finger nail.However all the above aside the fun factor is what this is for and for this it scores 5*As a way to get the kids to save money, hmmm well thats just boringBest used with small wrapped sweets

Not very good. The grabber is quite flimsy and struggles to pick anything up. We have tried both gummy sweets and packaged sweets (as displayed on the box) and both are just as difficult. Saying this, my 11 year old daughter and 5 year old son have had plenty of fun.. it just doesn’t last for long due to frustration.

It doesn't matter which seller you buy this item from, you're going to run into the same problem. This claw machine, like many of the products manufactured in a certain country, looks great but doesn't in fact work. It's not your batteries, it's nothing you did wrong - it's the shoddy work and complete lack of care from the production team. They went to the trouble of building it but couldn't go that extra mile to test it before shipping it out. Typical.So if you want to take a gamble with your money, go right ahead. If it does miraculously work right out the box, expect your victory to be short-lived.In future, I'd like Amazon to have a strict vetting process for products coming from this country. It would save them money on returns.

Got this for my 3 year old for his birthday and he loves it. While he is pretty rubbish at getting the sweets out himself at the minute he loves watching daddy doing it. We have filled it with them chocolate ice cups, small chupa chups lollies and jelly haribo sweets and it can be tricky to pick up some of them on the odd occasion we have been successful 90% of the time.Don't be expecting it to pick up a mars bar or a kit kat chunky as some people seem to think it should. It's made of plastic and can just about pick up the sweets. But it does and we're satisfied. Better not break in like a week tho lol

Was convinced that this candy grabber was going to be a dud when I got it as a present for my daughter at Christmas. Either it wouldn't grab or the system wouldn't start to begin with.But it was the most popular present on all of Christmas day.Three 'D' size batteries to get it going and then its just like being at Blackpool (except you have more chance of winning on this one).I read a few reviews asking about what to put inside the grabber. I didn't go for sweets but I'm sure they would be fine. I decided to buy some of the 'my busy books' collection, for example Toy Story, Moana, Avengers, WWE, and Disney Princesses and they worked perfectly apart from a couple of the bigger ones.I dont usually leave reviews but I thought I should on this because i bought it expecting a load of tat but I was pleasantly surprised.

Ein tolles Spiel. Wir haben den Candy Grapper zum 70. Geburtstag meiner Oma gekauft. Da sie wegen Corona nicht wirklich feiern konnte, wir aber trotzdem wollten, dass sie etwas besonderes an diesem Tag hat, bekam sie den Mini- Automaten. Gefüllt wurde er von uns mit Geldscheinen und Pralinen, die in Alufolie gewickelt waren. Dann hatte sie den ganzen Nachmittag zu tun und Spaß, obwohl wir nicht mit ihr feiern konnten. Der Ton ist sehr laut, kann aber mit einem kleinen Schieberegler ausgeschalten werden. Der Automat darf nicht zu hoch befüllt werden, da sonst der Greifer nicht richtig aufgehen kann. Alles in allem ein tolles Ding, für Kinder allerdings weniger geeignet, da es viel Geduld erfordert, bis man was herausgeangelt hat.

Pensavo che fosse una gioco tutto di plastica, molto più leggero e meno resistente. Invece è perfetto! Funziona proprio come quello del luna park... divertentissimo! Tutti i bambini che lo hanno visto lo hanno super apprezzato. Consiglio l'acquisto delle batterie insieme in quanto sono particolarmente grandi e non le avrei trovate facilmente nei supermercati!

The media could not be loaded.  Es un juguete divertido. Funciona bien. Tamaño perfecto. Mi niño de 3 años aprendió usar en 10 min. Agarra bien, único no hay que llenar demasiado porque la garra necesita espacio para coger bien. Esta máquina necesita 3 grandes baterías tipo D que no están incluidas.

Reçu dans les temps (rapide), en bon état, conforme à la description, bien protégé. Mes enfants de 5 et 13 ans adorent, elles ont vite attrapé le coup de main. Et tout le monde se prend au jeu, même les adultes. J'ai rempli de petits gadgets style balle magiques, jouets à remonter, porte-clés, etc. pour le premier essai (je leur ai offert pour Pâques, préparé à l'avance - piles mises et jouets dedans). Après je compte mettre des friandises. Il faut privilégier les petits objets pas trop lourds, sinon la pince a du mal à les saisir. Jouer avec la musique, c'est plus sympa pour les enfants mais le réglage du son (fort, moyen et pas de son) est sympa pour les parents ;) Comme je disais, mes filles se prennent au jeu et jouent parfois longtemps, donc pouvoir couper (ou au moins diminuer) la musique au bout d'un moment, c'est intéressant. Ce jouet va trouver une bonne place dans la salle de jeu et il fascine aussi les copines qui viennent à la maison. Peut s'utiliser aussi lors d'un anniversaire, ça occupe les enfants un moment et chacun repart avec un petit souvenir qu'il a pêché lui-même. Bref, je ne regrette vraiment pas cet achat. Maintenant, il faut juste voir la durée de vie/solidité sur le long terme. Update à suivre.
