Functional, price point aligns with expectations of device
This thing is cheap...in price and materials. But they at least align and my expectations were met. We have a young child that likes to sneak off to watch TV in the middle of the night, so we needed something cheap to keep the remotes contained. We are NOT chasing actual security here, just prevention of a kid from grabbing a remote. He seems to find them if we just put them up on a shelf somewhere or a drawer. Out of sight out of mind has not proven effective at this age.GOOD - price point for a simple locking safe - it is a metal box with a locking door - adding finger prints is an easy task - so far (2 days), the reader is working as expectedBAD - I have low expectations on the life span of the device - the locking knob is a cheap'ish plastic ring attached to a metal post that spinsWill this keep your valuables protected in a fire, flood, or from a thief? Absolutely not. Will it keep some low value item out of the hands of an overly curious child? Yes it will.

Love fingerprint feature
I bought this for a friend of mine that her son was leaving for boot camp and wanted a small safe for a few items he wanted put up. It was simple to work and allowed them to put 2 different fingerprints in the safe to be used

Don’t do it.
Even with new batteries, the fingerprint part never worked. So I use the key, but now the lock is almost impossible to turn.

It worked great but the opening system stopped working after about 3 months
