Ordered these for a upcoming housewarming / halloween party but wanted to go for a more classy look than the usual sort of awful garish halloween lights.These lights look really nice when switched on they have a really nice warm glow thanks to a mix of the led itself and also the round plastic defuser and at 10 meters in length they will add a nice touch for the party.Lights run of 3 AA batteries which look to be wired in series which for those of you that "series" means nothing to you it essentially means the batteries will last longer which is of course a good thing. The battery box itself is nice and chunky / robust and although it says these lights are for outdoor or indoor use and I will be using them outdoor the box will probably do ok at not letting water in but just in case I recommend a couple of wraps of tape around it when using outside just in case and you are good to go.I can't speak regarding longevity but I will update this review in the future with a update but for now I am very pleased with these and glad I decided to go with quality as opposed to not just going for the cheapest set of lights and trust me you will love the glow these lights give of.Definitely good value for money and very pleased.

Arrived on day stated. Well wrapped. Lovely soft glowing lights. Bought to go inside a Wendy House. Takes three double A batteries.

As I was putting the batteries into these lights I dropped the battery pack, the metal fitting inside shattered and even though I reconstructed the pack the lights haven’t worked reliably.So take care , these are fragile, pretty but fragile.

Lovely looking lights but NOT outdoor. Having spent a along time up a ladder in the freezing cold putting them up, it rained that night. The battery pack filled with water and the lights failed. Waste of time and money.

I can’ open the box to put in batteries . Can’t see any return instructions so never even put them on . They seem a long string to operate with batteries anyway better if they from the main socketThey looked fine though

Was initially very happy with the product ...but the light have been on only around four times for a couple of hours ,and although still working have faded 😞

Got this for Christmas and they created a lovely atmosphere, just avoid some of the modes that flash too much

We bought 2 boxes and one box when opened, half the lights did not work as the bulbs had come out and could not be reinserted and the second box worked but only for two days - the slightest tug on the wire and the bulbs popped out.. and then we were in the dark.
