Stubborn cats favorite toy
The media could not be loaded. By chance, years ago, my family bought a bunch of these toys for my picky cat when he was a kitten. Now that I’m moved out and finding new toys for him, I can’t help but notice that every single one has been a miss aside from this toy and one other that is basically pure catnip. This toy is sturdy, but loud. If you have a cat playing with it in the middle of the night on hard flooring you’ll think someone is trying to break in.My cat loves this toy so much that he’s torn the mouse out and ripped the fabric off of the top of 4 of these toys. To the toys credit, it does take him quiet a lot time to destroy it and he seems to have a lot of fun doing it.As some others would suggest, either put this toy on a carpet or rug or attach some rubber matting to the bottom to make the toy more quiet and less mobile.

Kttens and cats will Love this!!!
My cat plays with this all the time! And she has at least 100 toys to play with. But she always goes back to this very inexpensive but very playful toy!

Made for kiddy
Opt in for the next day. Arrived on time. I made a mistake and didn’t read the measurements. This is perfect for Lil Kiddies. Not an 11lb cat. Even sprinkling catnip, my cat did not engage. So many wonderful items for kiddies. I have to really do my research on what will attract this adopted cat to engage in play, besides the tiny birds and mice toys.

No batteries needed.
Our cat is not interested in this toy. Sad, cause it is a cute toy.

Simple but the cats love it.
It may not be made of the most sturdy plastic and the top I don't see any cats using because it can't be locked down but it is a nice toy. My cats love it, even my grouchy kitty who won't play with other cats joined in.That being said, it may be an -interactive- toy but you can't just put it on the ground and expect them to know what ypu want them to do. I sat down on the floor, spun the mouse a few times and then the cats quickly started playing. Woke up to my runt cat going at it early in the morning, desperately trying to get it out. We drop cat treats inside every now and again to reward the cats, so they don't feel defeated when they can't get the mouse.

Potential For Injury
Cute idea if it was not dangerous. It is extremely lightweight so therefore easily moves around. I took it out of the box and showed my cat how the mouse goes around. My cat was fascinated with the mouse but when he went to "catch" the mouse his nail got stuck on the mouse. He immediately freaked out because when he pulled his paw away the whole entire toy came with it. He had a small freak out because he had the whole toy stuck to his paw. Thank goodness I was there to remove it. I gave benefit of the doubt and put the toy down again. Once again, he went to bat the mouse and his claw got stuck on it and once again the toy was stuck to his paw. The cat had the entire toy hanging from his paw. I can see how, if I was not right there this could have been a disaster. The cat could have been injured. My cats nails are not long and he plays with other toys with no issue. I, personally, don't recommend this toy. I have had cats all my life and have bought hundreds of toys over the years. Not happy with this one.

Highly disappointed. Not worth it.
I bought the toy for my 2 cats. One is 4 yrs old and the other 9 mos. old. They have other interactive toys and they play with them all day. I gave them this and they batted the mouse a few times and left it alone. The description says once the cat touches the mouse, it will scoot away. That is soooo untrue! The mouse is precariously attached to a swivel arm that only moves around the enclosure when your cat bats it. The whole thing is very light weight and the mouse doesn't move very far. The walls are built too thick and awkward. The claim that the top is a scratch pad is ludicris. It's made out of a pressed felt material. How does a cat groom it's claws on that? There seems to be some ridiculous fee to return it so I will probably take it apart and make it into something my cats WILL play with. I'll either automate it with a battery and remote or add some ball bearings under the post and add more weight to the mouse so it moves easier and stays in motion long enough to attract my cat's attention. Replacing the scratch pad with appropriate material is the easiest task.Sad to have to spend a bit more to make this something my cats will enjoy.

My second one
It took awhile several months of extremely rough play and they managed to get the mouse off and destroy it. I could not locate the extra mouses to replace the one they got off so I purchased another one. This is a must have cat toy - I would purchase again and have.
