Miniature Fairy Garden Fairy Rachael

I was thinking on return this fairy because the finish is not very good quality. It has little bumps on the body (one on the face too) instead of being smooth. In the picture it looks definitely so much better. However, I put it on a pot and if you don't look very closely for details, it looks really lovely and so I decided to keep it after all.

I was disappointed in this little girl. The painting of her tunic was smeared up the wing and there was so much flash (residual material) along the edges in many places it looked like the makers did nothing to smooth it off. Can actually cut you if you're not careful. If time was taken to sand that off, and the buyer is aware that a little painting done after it arrives is required to make it look more realistic, then she's a cute little lady. The detail is very good but does require additional painting. As it is I don't believe it's worth the price. They should lower the price and just sell it as a paint it yourself project. Or keep it the same price and send some paint with it. Even then they need to remove the flash.

The first purchase arrived with a broken head and wings. The second arrived with broken wings but I wanted it so bad that I glued it. I'm very disappointed with the product. I had to put a rubber band to keep the wing on while the glue did its magic. I shouldn't have to pay for this item after 2 attempts and the same disaster.

This is a wonderful depiction and I'm happy to own it. That's why I'm giving it five stars, in spite of a couple of small complaints. When I opened the box the wings had broken off. However, it's not out of the question I myself damaged the figurine while opening the box.(The fairy is quite delicate.) So I am not going to bother the seller with the situation. Besides, it was quite easy for me to glue the wings back on again. Also, I realized the paint is just very dull uninspiring colors. So I repainted the piece and now I'm thoroughly pleased with it.

It is adorable and quite small. I haven't decided where I will put it, but I know it will find the perfect place to live here in my home.

Just what I was asking for but the fairy was broken when I opened the package. Love the product but hate that it came broken :(
