Yuck! I waited for this disgusting joke of a meal
I saw some videos online and was excited about this "Mac and Cheese." After seeing it, I couldn't get it off of my mind as I salivated over the cheesy taste of the instant mac and cheese in my mind. I eagerly waited for it to arrive and as soon as it arrived I decided it was time for lunch because I was ready!I am disappointed to report that it did not come with the cup you are supposed to cook it in, and honestly, for the price, I would expect that to be included, but whatever I was determined to eat, my newly procured "mac and cheese." I researched and found the measurements of the cup that it was supposed to be cooked in. I meticulously measured the correct amounts of the pasta-seasoning mix and water and put it in the microwave. I was thoroughly disappointed after taking it out of the microwave, as I followed the directions, and let it sit, but it looked like a water mess; not mac and cheese :( . When I tried the concoction, I had just "cooked." I was very disappointed. The seasoning did not taste like mac and cheese and the noodles crunched in my mouth! However, I had not yet given up on my investment. I waited until the following day, when my stomach was empty, to try again, and I was met with the same disappointment.Maybe the cup is needed to cook the "mac and cheese perfectly," but in my experience, I overpaid for the food with no cooking cup, the seasoning did not taste good, and the noodles were still crunchy.

Easy Mac for adults
This is quite tasty even with a slight protein taste. It's really easy to make like easy Mac. Two scoops and two minutes... Stir and it's ready.

Pretty Bland. Don't follow the instructions.
I originally got the starter pack of the Huel website, so I got the scoops and the cup with a lid, the shakes and cup for those, so I'm able to follow the directions on the bag to make these meals. I've tried most of them now, and the thing I have learned is to completely ignore the instructions. If you follow the instructions, the pasta will be crunchy and completely uncooked. How I do it is to put the scoops of meal in a microwave safe bowl. I then add boiling water. I add much more than they suggest, I don't even measure it, I just pour in the water, mix until the sauce thickens, pour in more. It took me a few times of trial and error to get the right amount, and I was always adding too little water. So it needs a lot more than they say. I'd make it very soupy. I would then cover the bowl with a plate and pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes. I then let it sit for another 2 minutes before mixing it up and eating it. The pasta is still very chewy, but it is at least not crunchy. Also, for the Mac & Cheese I add some garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, so it at least has SOME flavor. Because otherwise it has almost no taste. It certainly does not taste like cheese. I probably won't get this one again. But the Mushroom pasta and the Cajun pasta is good, the Tomato & Herb is good.I am honestly not sure this is worth it, however. At 14 scoops that is 7 meals a pack, and at $45 that's about $6.40 per meal. You could get almost 2 frozen dinners from Walmart for that cost, and they are less of a hassle to cook. None of them taste good enough to be worth the extra cost, and none of them are any easier to cook than a frozen dinner.

Tastes Like Waters Down Cardboard
This is the second Huel flavor I have tried, the first one was Thai Green Chili which I quite enjoyed even though it has shown as the worst flavor for a lot of consumers (add a squeeze of lime and some cilantro and it is excellent!)I chose the Mac n Cheese flavor because in most product reviews, it places as the #1 flavor. I was excited to try it and share it with my vegan niece. That first bite was super disappointing, though. I ate a few more bites to see if it got better, but I couldn't finish it. The flavor was weak and it tastes wooden, somehow. I tasted none of the sweetness from the tomatoes that I saw in reviews. The only thing I liked was that there was a crunch from what might have been friend onions in the macaroni.I thought it might just be a personal thing, so I told my niece I would give it to her and/or her boyfriend, if they liked it. She had liked the Thai Green Chili flavor, so she wanted to try this one. She took a bite, made a face and said "No". I asked if she had any other opinions and she said "Just no", still making a face over the aftertaste. Can't return it, but I will not buy this flavor, again. Just hope I can find someone who likes it, so I can give it away.Oh and this is the second bag I have ordered that didn't come with the scoop. Even though they showed a picture of the scoop with the product. Not sure what's going on there.

Mashed Potatoes and Pasta
Not a bad meal for the calories, but wouldn't be my first choice. The Mac n Cheese tastes and looks like mashed potatoes with pasta in it. It tasted ok, just thick and a bit grainy. The bag doesn't come with a scoop, so I had to weigh out how much to make (thankfully I have a scale) and then figure out the water amount (would it be hard to say it in mL or at least make it "a cup".I may try the other ones at a later date and see if they are any better.
