I love this wallet because of its compact and practical design, it's very sturdy and you can feel it's very good in quality. Being used to leather wallets, it took me a while to get used to the hard case Flipside wallet. Once you get all your must carry cards/money organized and used to accessing them at will, you're going to love the wallet's design. I must say that I've had quite a few wallets in my life and have used each of them for years, my wallets become a part of me. I bought this wallet because I wanted something new and different and it turned out to be a great purchase since I've been very happy with it, the price is in the 50 dollar range but it's worth every penny. I recommend the Flipside wallet if you're interested in a hard case wallet that is compact, practical and cool looking, its design and quality will not disappoint you.

Best wallet i have ever had. And when you add the sidekick you add 3 more cards. Sturdy, easy access and slim. American made,can't go wrong with that.

The Flipside 4 looks like a bar of soap but it really is a very practical, well designed wallet. It feels cheap in your hand but don’t be put off by that. The Flipside 4 is made of hard plastic with aluminum dividers inside. The button to flip it open is recessed, so there’s not much chance of it opening in your pocket or purse by accident. It has three spots for cards. Two of them can hold three cards each, and one holds a single card. The Flipside 4 has a clip where you can put a couple of more cards, or up to 14 bills of cash. It’s quite lightweight and fits easily in either the front or back pocket. It’s not water resistant but that can’t be expected at this price. The Flipside 4 is manufactured in the United States. It must be real popular because some colors are out of stock quite often. The attachment with the rubber band isn’t of much use and I removed it. There is a “kick” attachment which adds in the ability to carry a couple of keys or more cards or cash. Right now the “kick” is only available on the Flipside web site for $17.95. The Flipside 4 is a very practical wallet that is an excellent replacement for a leather wallet.

I have been using a bifold leather wallet carried in my back pocket my entire life. After developing some lower back pain in my late 30s, my chiropractor told me to quit sitting on my wallet. So my solution for a number of years has been to take my wallet out of my back pocket (along with my phone that is in the other back pocket) each time I sit down. My current wallet was in need of replacement (along with the RFID sleeves I was using for my credit cards) and I was getting tired of having to pull out my wallet/phone each time I sat down. I had started noticing ads on web pages for new minimalist wallets and started doing some research. I realized that switching to a minimalist wallet would be a drastic change from what I was used to, but after I did an inventory of what was currently in my wallet, I found that I really didn't need to carry around most of what was in there. On a side note, I discovered the Google Pay app was able to scan in a number of the loyalty cards I was carrying with me, so I was able to put a lot of those away in a drawer. I found the Flipside wallet on Amazon and it was immediately at the top of my list. When I compared it to others, these features stood out:1. I liked the fact that it had a locking clasp which I am able to release one-handed and then use my thumb to eject my main credit card. The other wallets seemed like they would take two hands because of the way the card it stored.2. The flipping storage compartment that allows me easy access to my three main cards right on top rather than having to pull out the entire stack of cards and find the one I want.3. The Flipside ships with the rubber band attachment, but I ordered the 'Flipside Kick' attachment (why is this not available on Amazon? I had to order it direct from Flipside.) The extra drawer is a great idea for carrying a few spare keys or just using it to carry some extra cards.4. Between the Flipside and the Kick, it holds more than the others.5. I can store my cash on the clip inside the wallet rather than an elastic band or clip outside the wallet. I didn't like the idea of my cash being outside my wallet.6. I ordered the 'Flare Orange' color just for something really different (for me). I'm pretty tired of black and silver everything, so a new color that stands out was a nice choice to have available.Also add RFID protection and not having to worry about my cards getting cracked or bent.I now carry it in my front pocket and it is comfortable to sit with and it is very light. My only problem is regularly thinking "did I forget my wallet?" when my back pocket is empty, but I'm sure it will take more than a week or two to change several decades of behavior.A few suggestions for Flipside for enhancements that would make this a 5 star item for me:1. A very small storage compartment for tiny loose items you might need to keep with you - such as extra screws for your glasses or a pill.2. Either a credit card form USB 3.0 drive that can be inserted in the Kick or a really tiny type A USB drive that can somehow be stored on/in the wallet. I ordered a credit card USB drive along with the wallet, but it is just a little wider than a credit card so it won't fit in the Kick. Even if I shaved down the width, it's a bit too thick as well.Overall, I really like this wallet. It allowed me to see that I really don't need to carry so much around with me and I no longer need to worry about my leather wallet - and especially the plastic sleeve inserts - wearing out.

Excellent product, works well, holds plenty. A little expensive, but worth it.

(Update 2/13/2025 - Still tough I want an Orange one now... but Orange is rarely in stock on Amazon!) ... I've had this since June 4th 2023... It is an RFID protector... I tested it, it's wonderful. I can keep 4 cards in the top most flipper and (3 cards on one side of the middle flipper 1 card on The other side of the middle flipper) and About three more three or four more cards "loose"* in the bottom panel with some neatly folded cash. I wasn't quite sure their durability but I've sat on this thing quite a lot and no cracks and I'm never going back if I have a choice to soft wallets, I really do enjoy this thing and this spring isn't an issue either, I thought that might be something that could get weaker overtime but it's still wonderful and the latching mechanism I was worried about as well but over the past Three quarters of a year I'm really impressed and it's been well worth the money I spent on it... The materials that they've chosen work really good with the design that they've produced. The latching mechanism was new to me and I was concerned about some of the plastic corners but they're still sharp as they were day one they're the design really keeps All the stresses handled, I really don't foresee given what I've seen any type of stress fractures on this thing, they really have a winner here. *= I did remove that little plastic side wing that kind of helps keep the loose contents in the lower tray more secure, I preferred storage rather than security since I always flip it open palm up, It is removable .
