Does exactly what it needs to, and does it well
Using them with some sas drives, seems to work great. Haven't tested the other cable yet but I'm sure it will be the same. When testing sas drives, they will most likely not spin up without a controller. Mine didn't, so I was a bit concerned, however it works perfect now.

Works perfectly
Works perfectly with the SAS drives I’ve used it on, no issue with the HBA either. Worth it and does exactly what I need.

A minor bit of misinformation, otherwise it is working great so far
Purchased this cable to attach 4x SAS drives to an LSI 9211 HBA. I didn't notice in the picture that it says that it isn't for SAS drives when I ordered it, and got worried when it showed up that it wouldn't work, but it attached without issue and the drives are working without problem. Again, you must have an HBA capable of using SAS drives, and this cable will work fine for it.

Nice Cable, works great with ProxMox and HBA SAS2008 PCI-Express
Works great for hooking up SAS HDD's with SATA power , AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A SAS HBA controller. Great solution for home server builds with normal SATA power supplies. This cable is NOT FOR SATA HDD's. ONLY FOR HBA to SAS drives. No issues with ProxMox visibility (v7.1)

Good cable but did not work for SAS drives hooked to LSI 9201-8i HBA
Cable was good quility but when I hooked up two ST4000NM0023 Seagate 4TB SAS drives I bough on ebay to my LSI 9201-8i in my UNRAID server the drives were not recongnised. They powered on fine but could not get them to show up on the HBA or inside UNRAID.
