DB9 Female Breakout Board to Screw Terminals

Worked wonders for breadboarding myself a console cable. that otherwise would have been on backorder for weeks in order to change passwords and IP addresses on devices that had long been forgotten but instantly remembered when there was no choice of proceeding without having access. Every serious IT guy should have one of these in their toolset.

I used a pair of these, female & male, to make a tester for some RS-232 cables I was installing for some Sony PTZ camera controls. I connected Ethernet cables to the screw connectors and used my Ethernet tester for continuity through the 9 pin connectors on the cables.

Product was as expected, and easy to use.

If you troubleshoot or design interfaces this is a real time saver, well worth the money and then some. Buy it and save yourself the annoyance and expense of redoing headshells. I also bought the RJ45 version for the other end

I was impressed by how well it was constructed. With the appropriate male and female adapters I can use it to with any of my DB-9 devices to make measurements or temporary connections. It fit my needs perfectly.

I needed this to console into a piece of equipment. Beats making up something and hope it works. Got it quickly.
