ESP Wars: East & West

If Amazon is looking for ideas to make movies about... The story of Joe McMoneagle has got Hollywood gold written all over it.

In this book the author filled in some missing pieces for me concerning the last few years of the remote viewing unit at Ft. Meade. I have done a lot of research on the history of the remote viewing project. Most of the books that have been written have been written from the perspective of the former remote viewers. Edwin gives a fresh look from the project management side of the table. I was in the ASA (Army Security Agency) during some of the time frame covered in this book, I had some contact with the remote viewing project and other projects of that type. This book is accurate based on my knowledge and memory. A great read!

When the book came out, Joe and ED were invited to a big celebration at the Kremlin. Joe told me that the head General of the KGB had a copy of one of his books with Russian cryllic written under the english words. The General had obviously studied the book. In the US the bok wasn't celebrated. Probably because the US intell community is ignorant (some of them) are quite ignorant of the facts of RV.

The book gives a good overview of the activities done on this phenomenon by both sides - East & West. Sometimes, the details look boring, but they are useful to understand what was involved.

This is a subject that I have been interested in for a long time. So, I am glad to finally get some real information from the people who actually worked in these projects. Very interesting so I hope there will be more in the future.

Great insight into the field of consciousness and provides a good background into the reasons for the programs designed during that era.

This is a very, very interesting and fascinating book. I learned a LOT about ESP, government and some history I was not aware of. I highly recommend this book!

Fantastic

I enjoyed reading this book, especially the contrasts between America and Russia and on the practical issues, and indeed agree with the conclusions re funding. It has added a valuable perspective to my knowledge on the subject.

Il y avait un programme spécial officiel du côté des États-Unis qui avait un pendant du côté soviétique. Ici les acteurs clé des deux côtés racontent leur expérience. Fascinant et se lit comme un roman, il y a sur Amazon des rapports scientifiques officiels, voir notamment "The Star Gate Archives" (volumes 1-3 parus; 4 à paraître).
