I have 2 of these from about 15 years or so ago, the wood has a lacquer finish, medium bristles, good for a beard. Is this brush the same for anyone w

I believe it is, however I use my for long hair. I usually use only the side opp f the brush, so it has been working wonders. It was the best brush at the right price.

Is this a is this a good wave brush I see other wavers using it?

It's good for the first year or so. The bristles start to fall out, so now I'm looking to buy a new one again. As far as being a good "wave brush", my husband is Black and uses it on his short trimmed hair. Not sure what you mean by "wave brush".

Not sure what a chup is but it is a great brush for the money!!
