I am very happy with this mat. I bought a few others online and as soon as I put any weight on them when kneeling, my knees were literally on the ground because they were so flimsy. This one is awesome though; it stays firm and provides really good knee support. Perfect for working out on hardwoods or when you need some extra support for sensitive knees, etc. Lightweight and very cleanable. Highly recommended.

This is the second mat I have bought in a little over a year. It was recommended to me by a physical therapist and boy, was she right. It is comfortable; I use it primarily for floor exercises for physical therapy and yoga; I use it virtually every day. I have the two mats parallel on the floor and put my yoga mat on top of them. It the perfect system for me and far less expensive than buying a bigger mat. The mat is very supportive and yet it's light and easy to move. This will be my forever exercise mat and at a very good price.

I haven't been able to exercise on the floor because of fibromyalgia, which causes much pain whenever I press against any hard surface. I really wanted to do some floor exercises so I searched the internet for a nice thick but comfortable mat and this one was the best result. I have been able to do the exercises I wanted to do so I am very pleased about that. I was able to get the least expensive color since color was not an issue for me and so I was pleased with the price. It's not heavy at all and it folds up easily for storage. The one negative thing is that the covering is not that durable. The first time I used it my cat got on it with me and afterward I found 2 small holes from his claws. I don't think this will hold up to rough handling but I am going to be careful with it because I would like this mat to last .

You know, I like this mat. I'm 53 years old, facing the fact that I'm going to be on the floor doing exercises everyday for the rest of my life...I bought it to protect my bones from the floor. My knees, especially. I tried a few other mats before this one. They smelled to high heaven. Or were a real pain to roll up, and roll out. This one had a little odor at first but it went away quickly. It's easy to get out, easy to put down, easy to pick up and easy to put away. It's also easy to clean. I don't know yet how long it's going to hold up but it seems to be well made so far. (I got the 2" mat. I thought it might be ridiculous but turns out it's perfect.)

Although it took a bit longer to arrive I was pleasantly surprise by the size of the mat. It is much wider than others. We have been used it as an exercise mat for few months now. The quality seems durable. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Meets description well! Thick mat. We have two under our gymnastics bar. No Velcro to connect them, but easy to add.

The mat is actually less than six feet long and not quite 2 feet wide. Its 70"x23.5"

This mat was as I wanted, thick and it folds up compactly. I could not find a folding mat like it locally so I ordered it from Amazon. I'm in Canada and have ordered other items in the past via Amazon that have come across the US border and understand it will take longer than items which are already in Canadian warehouses. However the shipping for this item was beyond ridiculous and is the reason for this less than stellar review. Firstly, it was 10 days BEFORE it even entered the tracking system . Then it spent multiple days being shipped to various facilities in the same suburb of Los Angeles. Finally it was shipped northward. Once it finally left California, it only took 4 days to clear Canadian customs and arrive here (Toronto, Canada). Why the hell did it take so long to fulfil the order? Why did it go to at least separate facilities in the southern California town? If you order this item & you're in Canada, be prepared to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT.
