XM XM Sureconnect FM Adapter

I bought this after recently replacing my minivan that had a tape deck with a car that didn't have one. I was a bit skeptical that this arrangement would work, but it actually does, and sounds very good.It's easy to set up. In fact, it took longer to read the instructions than to install.One obvious limitation - your radio must be set to a blank, unused station. I set everything up, then drove 800 miles. While between large cities it worked great, but around cities I had to reconfigure the station to find an unused one. A pain while driving, and I eventually quit trying as it was unsafe and distracting while driving.Aside from the obvious limitation, it's a good product that works.

This works better that the stock transmitter or should I say, it makes the stock transmitter work better. It cut out most of the static I was getting when around neon signs and traffic lights.Now from what I read about this item, it may not work with the XMp3 but it does. Super simple to install "even my wife could do it" and she did. You just clip the one end on your antenna and plug the other end into the base unit, connect the external antenna to a little pod on the main wire and that is it. Set your channel and your ready to go. It also has a connector for in-windshield antennas. This is a simple, effective and CHEAP fix. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is,it will not block out a powerful channel, like your local rock channel, but on an open channel it works fine.

I bought this to have my other vehicle wired for my portable XM radio so either vehicle could be "plug and play." Installation was easy and the function is great for picking up the XM on an FM station through the radio.

Won't work on a Crown Victoria rear window antenna.

If you live in a city where FM stations are constantly interfering with you listening to your satellite radio, then you must purchase this product. I've installed this and my satellite radio quality has vastly improved to almost CD quality.

My cassette player broke in my old Subaru. This was how I played my XM. I sure wasn't going to replace a cassette player so I switched to the FM station method. Nothing but static whenever I stepped on the gas. Didn't want to pay the price at other vendors so I gave this a try. Very easy to install. Took about 5 minutes. I was excited to give it a try. Took off down the road and got a perfectly clear station. No interference! Drove around town, perfect! Very happy this was a quick fix.

Works perfectly for my portable Pioneer Airwave satellite radio. I use my sat radio in all 3 of my vehicles.

I had a Satellite Radio Kit, but it didn't come with an FM radio adapter; for a small investment this gave me what I needed. It works well for me.
